"Viktor Nikiforov you are going to this Ball and that is final." a booming voice sounded down the hall, frightening anyone in it's presence. The Prince walked out the room as calmly as possible, trying to pretend he didn't hear his father say those words. He walked out and coincidentally ran into his soon to be King/Queen, Yuri Plisetsky.

"Hello Viktor, are you ready to go out now?" he asked impatiently. Viktor had been avoiding him all day, subtly hinting he didn't want anything to do with the young blond.

"Ah. yes, forgive me. I have had a busy day." he said, lowering himself to place a gentle kiss on Yuri's hand. The younger gave him a disgusted look and took his hand away.

Viktor had a displeased face the whole way down the castle steps into the town. Once outside he tried his best to seem like he was having a good time while an angry teenager was clinging to him. All throughout the trip he mumbled his responses and nodded since flat out ignoring is rude and unkingly. Yuri forced Viktor to purchase anything he liked which was anything related to tigers and leopard patterns.

Once home, Viktor was forced to follow Yuri to the garden grounds and look at flowers. Yuri asked what every flower meant and Viktor explained nonchalantly.

"What does this one mean?"
"That is a daisy, it represents gentleness, innocence, and/or loyal love."
"What about this one?" he pointed to some on the edge of the garden, bunches of pastel pink flowers together.
Viktor rolled his eyes,"That is a peony..." he coughed.
"Well, what does it mean?" Yuri asked, slightly agitated.
"It...means 'Happy Marriage, healing'"
Yuri's eyes lit up and he picked two off from the bunch and put one behind his ear and one in Viktor's front pocket. Viktor smiled when Yuri looked up at him to see his reaction, he planned on giving the flower to some else later.

Once home, Viktor was sent to the fitting room for his suit. He did as he was told and went to get fitted for the dreaded ball.

I'd rather clean the stables than participate in this horrendous ball, Viktor thought to himself, becoming more and more upset with each step towards the room.
