The next day at school started out the same as always; first period pre-calculus with Claire, second period AP anatomy with Julia and her groupies but on her way to third period Grover runs up behind her out of breath.
"Annabeth" he says between breaths "You were right. Well maybe. I might be right too. There might be a cyclops on its way to the quad right now but I'm not positive because I didn't get a good look at it"
"Okay" she says digging into her backpack "Are you sure it's not just Tyson coming to say hi?"
"Yes, I'm am at least positive about that, just yesterday Percy told me he was helping rebuild Poseidon's underwater mansion."
"Okay so either it is here for Julia or Claire," she says pulling out her Yankees invisibility hat "so we need to find them both and make sure that they don't do anything stupid. "
"Okay, I'll find Julia, you get Claire and meet back at the water fountains across from the gym."
"Got it" Annabeth says putting on her invisibility cap.
Claire wasn't that hard to find because she was just like Annabeth. She was waking over to her third period because she didn't want to be late but before she could get there the cyclops sees her and starts to make his way over. Annabeth runs as fast as she can over to Claire taking off her hat and grabbing her hand at the same time. Claire realizing that something is wrong, lets her pull her. But lucky for Claire something distracts the 8ft tall cyclops, but not so lucky for Julia it was her bright red backpack. At first it seems like it was just the bright color that distracted the cyclops but Annabeth had seen enough animals and monsters with a prey in sight to know that not only she was right about Claire, Grover was right about Julia.
