Annabeth was tired of school and wanted to go home. As much as she liked school she was over it. Most of the girls were so rude to her and bullied her because she was a straight A student and liked to read a lot. Little did they know that while they were getting reading for Prom and Homecoming and stuff like that she was out fighting against monsters. Not your everyday monsters that you were scared of as a kid but old legend type monsters.
What she wouldn't give to be able to show off just a little so they would know that she isn't as weak as they think she is. She was tired of being bullied by the "popular" girls at the school and not being able to stand up to them. Although it did help when Percy came and picked her up last week because they finally realized that her "imaginary" boyfriend wasn't so imaginary at all. He got them to shut up for the whole week! Percy knew everything that happened with her but there isn't anything that he or anyone else can do.
Just as Annabeth was leaving she saw Julia walking toward Claire, her best friend at school. Julia was the worst of the bullies. She always tried to set her up with the ugliest boys in school (before she found out about Percy) and told her how much of a horrible person she was and she even dared to say that
she will never do anything good in the world. HA if only she knew.
