Chapter 2

Bay's POV

"Hey Ry" I say as he takes a seat next to me at lunch.

"H.. hey" he says nervously and I give him a weird look. "Bay... if I knew something, that could affect you.. you would want me to tell you, right?" He asked nervously as he stares deeply into my eyes.

"Of course. Why, what happened?" I ask him in response.

"Okay.. well, the thing is.." he starts to say but he gets cut off by Rocky.

"Hey.. I'm back, can I just briefly talk to Ryland, this will only take like a minute" Rocky told me.

"Yeah of course" I say.

"I Love you babe" he says as he kisses my cheek and then goes off with Ryland.

Ryland's POV

"Rocky I don't want to talk to you, and you know exactly why" I say to him.

"Just please don't tell Bay" he says.

"Why.. because you love her.. I find that really hard to believe you know, do you even know what love is? You and I both know that Bay doesn't deserve this, how could you? You're unbelievable" I tell him.

"Yeah well you just said the exact reason why you can't tell Bay, 'she doesn't deserve this' you and I both know that this will break her heart if she finds out" he tells me... I guess he's kind of right.

"It would break her heart even more if she finds out from someone else and realizes that the people she loves kept this from her" I told him honestly.

"Whatever, do what you want, but between the both of us, who do you think she will believe more, because you can tell her if you want, but I'll just deny it" he told me...

"Fine, I won't tell her, you are such an asshole" I tell him as I storm off. He doesn't deserve Bay, she's the perfect girl and I can't believe he would betray her like that. I've been in love with her for a while now but I just never said anything because she's with Rocky and I would never have a chance with her, but I refuse to let her be with a guy that doesn't deserve her, not even if it's my own older brother.

Bay's POV

*At the Lynch's house*

Ryland and I are in his room watching Netflix. We're supposed to be studying for a math test we have tomorrow but we took a break like an hour ago.

"So what is it that you wanted to tell me earlier Ry?" I asked him.

"Oh.. it's.. it's nothing, just forget about that" he told me nervously.

"Okay, if you say so, but it seemed pretty important" I tell him.

"Don't worry. It wasn't, it's not" he assured me.

"Okay" I said just as Rocky walked in the room.

"Rocky.. Bay and I are trying to study for our math test and it's tomorrow and we really don't need distractions, so can't you go anywhere else but here" Ryland tells him.

"Sorry... I just came in here to see Bay" Rocky said making me smile.

"Yeah well we're both busy" Ryland tells him.

"Ryland, we took a break though" I reminded him.

"Yeah.. we did" Ryland said sounding a little upset.

"Ryland are you okay?" I asked him with concern.

"Yeah... I'm fine Bay, go hang out with Rocky" he told me.

"You're sure that's it?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I'll be fine" he told me with a smile.

"Alright, if you're sure" I told him as I hugged him. "You know you can aways talk to me Ry, if anything is wrong" I reminded him.

"Yeah I know that and thanks for being concerned about me but there's no need to be, like I said I'm fine" he reassured me.

Ryland's POV

Rocky came home hours later and told me that he took Bay home.

"Ryland.." Rocky trailed off.

"What Rocky, what do you want?" I asked him with annoyance in my voice.

"I just need to ask you a question" he told me.

"Okay, so ask away" I told him.

"Do you have feelings for Bay" he asked me making my eyes go wide.

"I think you already know the answer to that Rocky.." I tell him.

"Yeah, of course you like her, now everything makes sense now.." he said.

"I'm sorry Rocky, it's not like I want to be in love with her" I told him.

"You're in love with her?!" He asks.
"You know what, you should be sorry, because she's my girlfriend Ryland, not yours" he told me and he's right, I know that I need to get over her but I just can't...

"Yes I know that Rocky" I told him. I wish Bay was my girlfriend, but like he said she's not and that's probably never going to change because she loves Rocky and he claims to love her.

"Then stop trying to ruin Bay and I's relationship" he told me.

"I'm pretty sure you and I both know that you already did that yourself, it's already ruined, she just doesn't know it" I reminded him.

"And she's never gonna know because what happened was a mistake and you can't tell her. For the record, you shouldn't even care so much because she's my girlfriend, need I remind you again" he said in response.

"Whatever" was all I said before just walking away. I really needed to get over Bay, she's with Rocky and she loves him.. not me....

So this is kind of a sad and depressing chapter, sorry you guys :( (at least it was longer though). Anyways, what did Rocky do that made Ryland so mad???? And will Bay ever find out about it??????? Will Ryland ever get over Bay????? I'm gonna try to make these chapters longer, anyways that's all for now, I hope you guys enjoyed that chapter, I love you all, bye Baudreys!!!!!!
