Chapter 5

Bay's POV

I was currently sitting on the couch at home bored as I waiting for Ryland to arrive. I was trying not to think about Rocky which was kind of hard to do, we were dating for two years and he just threw it all away...

Knock! Knock! Knock!

I heard a knock at the door snapping me out of my thoughts.That's probably Ryland, I opened the door to face Ryland with a box a pizza.

"I come baring gifts" he said making me laugh.

"There's ice cream in the freezer and I was thinking that we could watch a bunch of episodes of The Vampire Diaries" I told him.

"Yeah sounds good, you seem like you're in a better mood" he said.

"Yeah I am, Rocky and I broke up, there's no sense in crying about it. I just need the people that actually want to be in my life, like you" I told him as we sat down on the couch and I cuddled up next to him.

"Well if you're happy then I'm happy" he said as he put his arm around me.

"Thanks Ryland" I say to him.

"For what?" He asks me.

"Everything, just being here for me, when I need you" I told him.

"You don't have to thank me for that. I'm always gonna be here for you, you mean a lot to me" he told me as he stared into my eyes.

"You  mean a lot to me too Ry" I told him sincerely as I smiled at him. It was silent for a while and we just stared into each other's eyes.

"Are you hungry? I'm really hungry" he said breaking the silence as he got up from the couch and took a slice of pizza.

"Yeah, me too" I said also getting up from the couch and taking a slice of pizza.

"So, do you have any plans for tomorrow?" Ryland asked me.

"No, not that I know of, why did you wanna hang out?" I asked.

"Actually, I have to attend a student council meeting tomorrow. We need volunteers for the music festival" he tells me

"Oh that sounds like fun, maybe I'll stop by" I told him. I

"Great, it starts at 7 A.M." he says.

"Ok, I'll be there" I say. "Hey Ryland can I ask you a question?"

"You just did" he says and I give him a look, "I'm just joking, what is it that you wanted to ask me?" He says.

"Why do guys cheat?" I asked him with tears starting to fill my eyes, I tried to be happy, I really did but I just can't stop thinking about the fact that Rocky cheated on me, I really didn't expect this from him..

"Oh... Bay, Rocky is such an idiot" he tells me as he pulls me into a comforting hug. "You're perfect Bay and I don't understand how he can't see that" he said making me smile.

"Thanks Ryland but you're just saying that because you're my friend" I say.

"No, I mean it, like I really mean it. You're beautiful and smart and really sweet and caring, talented you're just perfect" he told me as he stared into my eyes and wiped away all of my tears.

"Thanks Ryland, you're so sweet" I tell him.

"I'm just saying the truth.. I love you Bay" he tells me sounding kind of.. nervous?

"I love you too dude" I tell him.

"I really love you like a lot, I..." He started to say but then he did something that I totally was not expecting.... He smashed his lips against mine. I was shocked at first but soon I kissed him back. I was so confused, I was still hurt and upset about Rocky and i never really thought about Ryland as anything more than a friend. But now I'm not sure...

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have, I know that you're still upset about Rocky.. I just.... I'm in love with you Bay and I have been for a while... I should probably go..." He said as he was about to leave but then I gently grabbed his arm causing him to turn around.

"No.. can you please stay, I mean if you want to.." I trailed off.

So for the rest of the day we just ate pizza and ice cream and we fell asleep watching The Vampire Diaries.

So that was kind of a short chapter, sorry you guys but Bay and Ryland kissed!??!!!!!! What's gonna happen next???? Does Bay feel the same way about Ryland as he feels about her???? Will she ever get over Rocky??? Well that is pretty much it for now, I hope you guys enjoyed that chapter and hopefully I'll update soon, love you all, bye Baudreys!!!!!!
