recap of last chapter
We pull away after a minute of kissing because oxygen became an issue.When are lips are no longer connected i look into her eyes and realise what actually just happened.i was her first kiss, she pulled ME in, why? she looks up at me and smiles and i just smile back having no clue how the rest of our night will go.
chapter 7
After we puled away from the kiss i was in a state of pure confusion, i still managed to reply to questions with basic answers but i think Aaron realised that something was up because he kept looking at me weird.I caught his eyes when he had turned to look at me again and he signalled for me to go to the kitchen.I stood up and excused myself to grab the take-away menus.As i stood in the kitchen i wondered about why Camila had pulled me in, what questions Aaron was going to ask? and what was going to happen later on in the night?
Aaron walked in and shut the door behind him, when he turned back to face me i was looking at the ground he walked up to me and said "Ember look at me". i lifted my head up to meet his eyes.he then proceeded to ask me " Ember, what was that kiss about back there?' cause that definitely didn't look like just a dare and you normally would've refused because you were dating Eli" i took a deep breath and got ready to reply.
"um i broke up with Eli earlier that's why he left earlier and why i didn't refuse, and i don't know we were just doing the dare and she must've decided to put on a show for you guys" i said in one quick breath hoping he didn't catch onto my lie.He looked into my eyes for a few seconds, trying to read me, after a bit he just hummed and said "okay but like you didn't do anything to stop it so are you like not straight?" i just shrugged and said "i guess it's just something to tick off of my bucket lists then" he nodded and suggested we go back into the living room.we made our way to he door before i quickly grabbed the menus and carried on walking.
The first thing to come out of someone's mouth when we walked back in was David who said "there they are, you were gone so long we thought you were making out.Now pass me the menus" As i passed the menus to David i looked at Aaron's face and saw him blushing, i raised an eyebrow and he just looked away.i shrugged it off and sat down on the far right off the sofa where the only seat was left, it was next to Camila who was currently scanning through a pizza place menu.
after a bit of decision Aaron and i were going to order from Peep's and David,Stuart and Camila were going to get pizza from i don't know where, Camila had said that she would just choose something from Peep's to make it easier but i refused saying "if you want pizza i'm going to get you pizza, it's no problem really".she replied with a shy thank you and before an awkward silence started Stuart interrupted by suggesting that "we should start setting up the stuff for sleeping seeing as its midnight and we have school tomorrow morning", we all nodded and the guys started setting up their sleeping bags on the sofas i have.i turn to Camila and say
"You can take my bed and i'll take the recliner" she shakes her head and replies with
"No it's your house i'll take the recliner and you can stay in your bed"
"you can't take the recliner because your neck will be hurting for days afterwards" i say trying to talk her out of what will inevitably give her neck pain.
she counters with "but then if you sleep on the recliner you'll have a bad neck and i don't want you to be hurt" my heart swelled a bit at her words, she was being so sweet.Before i could reply Stuart suggested that "why don't you two just share the bed, that way neither of your necks will hurt" i scan Camila's face for any sign of discomfort at the idea of sharing a bed with me but she seemed completely content with the idea of us sleeping in the same bed.After dinner had arrived and was eaten it was 1am, i announced that we all should go to sleep and after everyone exchanged goodbyes she grabbed my hand and dragged me up to my room.
once were reach my room she closes the door and sits on the bed cross legged and uses two fingers to beckon me over, i sit the same as her facing her on the bed just looking into her eyes when she says something that snaps me out my state.
"so,what was that secret you were going to tell me earlier?"
