Divided [A Kylo Ren/Ben Solo Fanfiction]

Chapter XXI

  I turned away from the crowd of them and stared at Kylo. "What in the hell is this?" I whispered to him, but he ignored me. All he did in reply was pull me towards Snoke.

  The seven-foot-tall Supreme Leader looked down at me. "Hello, Ophelia Kenobi." His deep voice was antagonizing. I was immediately regretting thinking of doing this.

"Hello, Snoke." I looked anywhere but him. It was odd seeing him someplace else other than a hologram.

"Please, follow me."

Kylo, Snoke, and I, were all standing in the room where his hologram would usually be. Kylo Ren and I were standing beside each other, in front of Snoke, who was looking at the both of us. "You've been avoiding us?"

I sighed and looked at the Supreme Leader. "Yes. I have." I wasn't going to deny it. It was true. I had purposefully been avoiding The First Order.

"Please enlighten me on your reasoning." He folded his arms over his chest.

"Being around The First Order changed me, in ways that I didn't like. So, I fled. I wanted to become myself again. I didn't want to be on the Dark Side." Suddenly, I felt the need to spit the words out instead of lying. I knew this was most likely him using the Force on me.

"I must say you impress me, Ophelia." Snoke began walking around Kylo and I, making this whole experience more frightening. Snoke really was scary, there wasn't any denying that. "There were so many times that you could have given in, yet you didn't. But, you did bend a little, correct?"

I couldn't lie about this. "Yes."

"If you joined the Dark Side, your capabilities would be endless." He was exaggerating, a lot.

"They are as a Jedi, sir."

  "But as a Sith there are many more possibilities! So many that I can't list them all."

"Snoke, I have said this once, and I'll say it once more. I will not betray my great grandfather, or my Master. Good day." I turned around, wanting desperately to get out of this place. All I wanted was to ask about a little boy, for goodness sakes!

"Very well. If you won't join us, then I'll just have to kill you." His deep, scary voice sounded from behind me and I froze in my place. What was he going to do?

As soon I turned around, I saw lightning shot out of his arms. I tried my best to stop them with my powers but I couldn't in time. As soon as the electrical force hit my body, I screamed out in intense pain. The feeling of my whole body being buzzed was not pleasant.

I dropped to the floor, weak, squirming around trying to bear the pain. But I couldn't. I tried my best to block his forces, but I couldn't. I was too weak.

"B-en!!" I screamed, pleading him to help me, to stop Snoke. But he didn't do anything. He left me to basically die. "I hate you!!" I screamed my words at the top of my lungs. It felt as if my blood was boiling. It felt as if my flesh was ripping off with every second.

"Supreme Leader," Ben finally spoke up. "Please, let her go." His voice sounded like he was worrying, but Snoke didn't. He kept on electrifying me. I couldn't. Take much more of this. I could feel myself slowly slipping away. "Master!" He screamed out, but he still didn't budge.

I screamed out, and finally stared Snoke in the eyes. I used every amount of force in my body and pushed the lightning away from me, stopping it from having any further damage done to me. Suddenly, I felt someone else push it further towards Snoke and Ben, and I realized it was him. Kylo was helping me. Ben was helping me.

With our combined force, we pushed the lightning all the way back to Snoke, and it blasted him against the wall. I breathed a sighed in relief and fell back. "Thank you," I breathed as Kylo came over to me and reached for my hand. I took it, and he pulled me up. I almost collapsed again, but he caught me.

"I'm sorry," He whispered into my ear as he held me tightly against him.

"It's okay." I shook my head.

I sighed, about to make a life changing decision. I knew I shouldn't but so many things were telling me that I should. Before I could tell myself no, I blurted out my words.

"I'd like to join the dark side."
