Author's Note: Hey, guys, so hopefully you red my updated author's note and saw that I wouldn't be able to update last week. If you didn't, sorry. I thought I was going to be able to write more because I was on Christmas break, but it turns out I wasn't home like at all. I just got back yesterday and I start school tomorrow. But, I managed to finish this chapter for you guys, so please don't be mad at me. Okay, on to the story.

Five months. Kaldur'ahm and I have been together for five months, so far. My life was terrible after my dad died; I could never find the strength to be happy. But now, after so long of living in the dark I'm finally starting to see the light.
As I sat on my bed I stared at the picture in my hands. It was a picture of me and Kaldur at the beach. Kaldur and I were lying on the same beach towel and I had fallen asleep on top of him. Kaldur was the one to take the picture instead of waking me up, and because of that I was as red as a tomato when I woke up. But, the picture was worth getting. Sometimes I can't believe that we ended up together. I always thought it would be like the movies and I would start developing feelings for one of my best friends and find out they have feelings for me too. But, this is way better than a movie in my opinion.
Every chance we got we visited Atlantis. I loved going their and meeting everyone, including Garth and Tula. Three months into their marriage Tula announced that she was pregnant. her baby shower to find out if it's a girl or boy is in a few weeks, so I will be returning to Atlantis soon. I also enjoy catching up with Garth; if it wasn't for him Kaldur and I wouldn't be together. Suddenly a knock at my door interrupted my thoughts.
"Come in," I said putting the picture down. Dinah walked through the door holding a blindfold in her hands.
"Are you ready?" She asked holding it up.
"I guess, but you're making me scared," I said as she put the blindfold on.
"Don't be afraid, he won't lead you into a trap."
I furrowed my eyebrows at the word he. That's when I felt a hand encase my hand in warmth. It sent shivers down my spine. I knew whose hand that was, and I held tight to it. Suddenly a pair of lips met mine for a brief moment before pulling apart.
"Feel better?" Asked Kaldur. I could feel his breath on my ear from behind me.
"Most definitely," I said smiling and beginning to walk.
I felt disoriented without my sight, swaying with every move I made. Once Kaldur led me out of the apartment he led me into a car, which only drove for a few minutes before stopping. He led me out and into a small cramped space, but then I heard a computer talking and I realized it was just the telephone booth to get to the cave. Once I was sure we were in the cave Kaldur kept leading me. When we finally came to a stop I heard whispers and snickers. Kaldur removed the blindfold and I saw everyone, including the entire Justice League, standing in front of me.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROLINE!" They all yelled at the same time.
I covered my mouth in shock and happiness. I knew we were going to have a party but I didn't think EVERYONE would show up. As I took my hands away from my face I felt a body collide with mine. It was a smaller body, which meant it had to be Dick's.
"Happy birthday, Caroline," he said as he pulled away.
"Thanks, Robin, this looks amazing," I said looking at everything.
"Wait until you try the cake M'gann made."
The next people up were Nathan, Sam, and Jason. Even after what happened months ago I still haven't fully forgiven them. They've stopped at nothing at trying to get me to forgive them, and I've partially forgiven them, but what they did really hurt me. I'm still waiting for that sign that they REALLY regret their actions and that they won't do anything like that ever again.
