Chapter 4 ~ The Fanmeeting

   Amelia

      First thing in the morning, I was greeted by the sound of my annoying alarm. On normal days, I would have hit the snooze button mercilessly but today was different. I was meeting BTS today!

     I hurried to the bathroom and washed up. When I got out, I put on my denim dress, which I had taken hours yesterday to pick, along with a brown leather belt. I took a few minutes to do my hair into a braided half up before I heard my phone ring.

     "Hi Amelia! So, you ready for the biggest day of our life? How about we grab a snack or a drink before heading off? We'll meet you at the Starbucks café that you love at 12. See you later! Bye!" I heard Jeanele babble through the phone, not even giving me a chance to respond as she hung up.

     I checked the time.

    11.30 pm.

    Hmm... I have half an hour.

    I decided to scroll through my social media while I sat on my bed. I opened up Twitter and saw a new post from BTS.

    "Heading to the fanmeeting! Can't wait to meet ARMY!" the picture captioned.

    "Can't wait to meet you too..." I said to the image on my phone.

     I scrolled through a few posts before deciding it was time to go off.

     "Dad! I'm heading off now!" I informed dad.

     "Ok sweetie! Do you need me to send you?" he offered.

     "No thanks! I'm meeting my friends at Starbucks first. Thanks for the offer though!"

     "Ok! Have fun and be back early ok?!"

     "Ok! Bye dad!"

     And with that, I slipped on my shoes and started to walk towards the cafe.

     It didn't take me long to reach the café although I had strolled throughout the journey. I checked my watch as I stepped into the cafe.

     12 pm.

     Good. I was right on time.

     I looked around and spotted two familiar faces. I waved in their direction and they motioned me to come over.

     "Why are you both so early?"

     "Well...I guess we are just really excited" Jae Eun explained.

     I felt someone nudging my shoulder.

     "Amelia, look to your right" Jeanele whispered to me while pointing somewhere.

     I followed the direction get finger was pointing to until I met two familiar eyes. Knowing what I just did, I immediately turned away.

     What was he doing here? Did he like this cafe too?

     "Hey, don't we have a fan meeting to attend to? Let's go...we don't wanna be late" I said, trying to escape the place as soon as possible.

     We grabbed our drinks and started to walk towards the bus stop. I started to Google which bus to take for us to get to our destination.

     "Why were you so freaked out?" Jae Eun questioned.

     "What do you mean?" I asked, clueless about what she was talking about.

     "You know what I mean. You freaked out as soon as you saw Jun Ho and wanted to escape immediately, right?"
