Jun ho
I strolled through the path as I had set out early. As a result, I reached the cafe 15 minutes earlier than intended and saw no Amelia. Well, I guess it's still early.
I purchased my favourite drink, ice blended mocha with lots of whip cream on top. I found a table for two and sipped on my drink slowly as I waited for Amelia's arrival.
After one hour of waiting and sipping, my eyelids drooped as they got heavier every second. Eventually, my head landed on my arms that were crossed on the table.
I was awaken by the sound of a chair being pulled out from my left side. I decided to ignore the sound and tried to go back to my nap. However, the person's presence was quite disturbing and I decided to peek through the tiny gap of my eyelids.
I was startled by the view of Amelia gazing at my face, but I kept my cool and continued my act. My view was slightly blurred as my hair was blocking my face, but it made it easier for me to "spy" on her.
I closed my eyes shut as I saw her fragile looking hand approaching my face. I felt her fingers gently pushing my hair aside, making me heat up and feel uncomfortable. I decided to out and end to my act as I was soon to be caught.
I had captured her alarmed expression and chuckled a little. Next, she gave me a questionable face.
"What took you a century to get here?" I said jokingly.
"I kinda got into an accident but that's a long story. I'm sorry to keep you waiting. How could you wait for 4 hours? I thought you gave up and went home already." she replied in a serious tone.
"Well, waiting is kinda my forte so....to me, 4 hours is nothing." I returned a reassuring smile.
I checked the time on my watch. Oh dear.
"Oh well, we can't go to the park anymore and it's getting darker. Where do you suggest we go?" I said, too tired to think of any place.
"Well, there is this beautiful place I know, if you wanna go...." she suggested and I nodded in agreement.
She got up from her seat and I followed carefully behind her. I wasn't sure why but I trusted her as we took a bus that brought us to somewhere else.
We finally stopped at an eerie looking bus stop after 20 minutes. I reluctantly exited the bus with her, questioning the dark place.
"Are you sure this place is safe? Are you trying to murder me?!" I asked, panicking.
"Of course not babo! Just follow me..." we continued on as I followed her footsteps and the light shining from my phone guiding me.
There was an indistinctive path made of leaves and we continued walking for a few minutes, until she stopped walking.
"Turn off your light," she demanded.
"Why??? I don't want to..." I refused, fear rising within me.
"Just do it," she said sternly and I did as she said.
I felt that she was walking further from me and I was so scared, I almost cried. That's when strings of beautiful lights that hung from the trees around me lit up and a swing under a tree. [As shown in pictures]
Amelia was right. This place was indeed beautiful. As she asked me to walk closer, fireflies started hovering around me and it was really the most mezmorising thing I've ever witnessed in my life.
I felt Amelia walk up beside me and turned to look at her. She too was absorbing in the remarkable moment.
I unconsciously started to observe her features that seemed to glow under the dim lights. From her silky hair, milky skin, jaw and stopped at her lips.
I unknowingly felt myself gulp. There was also this unfamiliar sensation that was tingling in my stomach. That's when she turned to me and I quickly turned away, not letting her catch my face that was tomato red...

AmeliaI slowly approached the cute puppy that was sleeping. Quietly as possible, I settled down on the seat beside him. Though I wanted to wake him, I got distracted.
I observed his attractive features which looked so much better up close and just stared at him sleeping peacefully. I pushed away his hair that was draping over his face. I guess I was too abrupt that he woke up and startled me.
He joked with me, questioning my late arrival but I had replied seriously and apologised.
"Oh well, we can't go to the park anymore and it's getting darker. Where do you suggest we go?" he asked.
I contemplated whether I should bring him to my secret garden. In the end, I decided to do so as I did have to apologise for making him wait.
I led him to the place though he got slightly scared due to the gloomy atmosphere. With our lights shining from our phones, we finally arrived.
I demanded he turn off his light as I wanted to surprise him with the lights which were much more pleasing to the eye. I laughed as I saw his wide eyes and his jaw dropping upon the shining of the lights.
I signalled him to come closer to where I was, under the tree. As he stepped closer, the lights from the fireflies came alive.
Once again, he was completely surprised and so was I. Well, it has been quite some time since I've seen this view, which blows me away every single time.
Eventually, I ended up approaching to where he was, soaking in the delightful atmosphere. The fireflies distracted me ever so wonderfully until I felt a pair of eyes on me.
I turned to see Jun Ho who was facing the other way.
Was he looking at me?
I shrugged off the thought as I simply thought it couldn't be possible.
