Amelia
I played on the wooden board that was hanging from two strings tied onto the tree. Jun Ho was still taking in the breathtaking view.
“ How did you find such a magnificent place like this?” he was finally out of his fantasy world.
I put my legs down and stopped myself from swinging.
"Should I tell him?" I pondered as I fumbled with my necklace.
I got down from the swing and leaned onto the tree, sitting on the soft grass. Not too long after, he joined me by my side.
“My mom often took me here as a little kid. It was like a complete dream to me. Even now...” I started off.
“Your mom must have loved you a lot, seeing how she took you to wonderous place like this," he concluded, though it made me shed a tear.
“Yea... I guess she did...” I said, still playing with the heart shaped metal in between my fingers.
“I wish I had a mom like yours, my mom is endlessly busy.”
“At least you have a mom..." I said under my breath.
“Pardon?" He asked.
“Nothing,” I gave him a plastered smile.
“What's that you're playing with? Did your boyfriend give it to you?” he teased me.
This wasn't a matter to joke around with but I kept my cool and just shook my head.
“Who gave it to you then?” he asked curiously.
My breath suddenly became shaky and uneven.
“Wel-” I was interrupted by phone ringing.
“Excuse me for a moment…”
“Ne appa? Arasseo, ne...”
“Well, I have to go home now. Let's go...” I said, making my escape.
We made our way out again and waited at the bus stop. I was blankly staring at the locket in my palm, wishing I would remember whatever had happened…
“Hey, I'm really sorry about earlier. I shouldn't have joked like that. Did...someone important give it to you?” he asked with a gentle tone this time.
“Well, my story is kinda long so maybe next time?” I negotiated, not ready to tell him everything.
He nodded and stuck out his pinky to me.
“Promise?” he said hopefully.
I linked our pinkies together, which caused him to return to me the cutest smile I might have ever witnessed with my own eyes. My heart was almost exploding and my red face almost caught his attention. The bus arrived and saved me from extreme embarrassment. Lucky me.

Jun HoWe boarded the bus as my head was constantly thinking about what Amelia's story was about. I mean, everyone has their secrets right? I do. Judge me all you want but I have an immense fear of the dark.
Though there weren't many people, we sat at the back. I was slowly dozing off until I felt surge of weight placed onto my shoulder.
I glanced to my right and found a peacefully sleeping Amelia. I wanted to push her head off of me but I just couldn't. I ended up sweeping away her hair and adjusting her to a more comfortable position.
As we approached our stop, I gently shook her awake
"Andwae....appa... Just five more minutes please?" she whined as she suddenly wrapped her frail arms around me.
My face flushed red as I gently peeled off her arms from me.
"Yah! Amelia Anderson!" I attempted once more.
"Huh? Mr. Bloom??? " she asked as she slowly lifted her eyelids open and rubbing her eyes to get a clearer view of me.
“Oh, it's just you,” she smiled sheepishly.
“It's our stop. Let's go,” I guided her with my arm behind her back as she was still unsteady from her sleep.
I alighted the bus first and checked behind me if Amelia was following behind me. I got the shock of my life as she stumbled down the bus but luckily, my reflexes were quick enough to catch her in my arms.

Here's the update I "promised" and a cliffhanger? Comment if you thought it was unexpected and what you think will happen next. ;-)
