Chapter 4 Friends to Enemies

Kim slowed down the car as they arrived to an old electic gate that was a bit creepy looking. Kim went through the gate that led to a gaint mansion.

"I thought Hunter lived in a different home closer to mine?" Rose questioned.

"The house that he lives in now is where his foster parents live. He didn't want you to find out that he was a werewolf because he was afraid you would think he's a monster. Also he needed to be closer to the school so he moved there. But this is where all of us werewolves lives."

"Oh. In that case lets go I need to talk to Hunter."

Kim opened the door of the mansion, it made that sqeaky sound that all old doors make. On the inside of the house Rose was completely shocked about how lovely and clean it was.

"Get use to this because you will be staying with us for a while."

"What about my mother? She is going to worry about me!"

"Rose chill, your mom knows that you are okay."

Rose nodded her head. Suddenly Hunter came running down the stairs.

"Rose you're okay! I'm still upset with you though."

"Hunter I'm so sorry I didn't want to keep seeing you get hurt!"

"It's okay, you are here with us now."

"Hunter, you have to tell me what's going on with you and Kieran. I need to know now."

"Okay. It all started long long years ago. Kieran and I were best friends in school. One day his friend Jake came along making me a third wheel. He took us to the master where he was taking you before. The master brainwashed Kieran and made him my mortal enemy, he also put a certain type blood that mixes in with normal to make him the evil one. Kieran started to kill people to get his food source. One day he tried to eat me but Kim came along and saved me, she took me here and gave me the positive blood type to make me the good side of the werewolves. I tried talking to Kieran to stop him for being so evil but he only wanted war. It's exactly what the master wants to happen. He's waiting for war to begin so he can sit back and watch once best friends werewolf family's kill each other."

"So what does this have to do with me?"

"The master knows you have something of his that he needs."

"What is it that he needs?"

"It's a formula that you seem to have or something that's inside of you and he needs it desperately."

"Why so desperately?"

"Before the full moon comes again, he must have something of yours so he can live. But ever since you came to the high school Kieran and I have been watching you. You are the answer to solving the the problem with the evil and good."

"Me?"

"Yes you Rose."

"That's why we must keep you safe here."

"Speaking of that Um I seem to have misplaced my phone at the graveyard."

"Rose! What!"

"If they find my number and track us down then war will start. I must go back and find it!"

"I will come with you!"

"No! You stay here I don't need you getting taken away again. You know it hurts to see you with another man like him."

"You think I like Kieran?!"

"Of course you do just by the way you stare at him! It's exactly how I stare at you!"

"Hunter."

Hunter left the house without saying another word. Rose ran to the door calling back for Hunter. Hunter came back because he forgot his keys.

"One last thing Rose."

"And what is that?"

Right there at the doorstep his eyes locked up with hers and he met his lips with hers. She kissed him back but only because she felt she had too. Kim stood next to them. You could see her flashy red eyes when she watched them two make out. Kim has never been more jealous in her life.

"Hunter!" Kim called

Rose and Hunter stopped kissing to look at kim. She stood there with no emotion and fell back into hunters arms. Hunter carried her up to her room placing her on her bed.

"Rose, I must go! Take care of her for me!"

"Okay, be safe!"

Rose sat there watching Kim. Once Hunter was gone, Kim woke up staring at Rose.

"Rose." Kim whispered

"Yeah Kim?"

"Don't ever do that again."

"Do what?"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about."

"What Hunter and I just did that was nothing, I only kissed him back because I didn't want to let him down."

"You can't do that to Hunter. He's a sensitive guy you are better off leaving if you are going to play with his heart."

"What's the big deal?"

"I love Hunter, if he dies for you I will make sure your life is nothing but hell."

I thought you were nice though."

"When it comes to someone I care about deeply I don't mess around."

"Fine you want me gone, I'll leave!"

"Go right ahead!"

Rose ran out of her room running through the door and out of reach of the house. Suddenly someone pulled Rose by the hair to the side of the road."
