Midnight Strikes Again

Chapter 6 - Family

"What how are you my sister?" Rose stepped back knowing nothing of this.

"Rose...we have no time, Hunter is kidnapped remember?!"

"Hunter can wait. How come I am just hearing about this?"

"It was when we were born." 

"Twins?"

"Sorta. Although you don't look like me at all."

"What happened to us?"

"Our father when we both grew up to be three, he had to leave with his werewolf pack. He took me with him because he thought I was the one he needed but he was wrong. He left you with our foster mother Eva. He killed our real mom when we were born because of the birth of two little girls. He married Eva because she was turned into a werewolf and he wanted to keep you safe. When he realized he didnt want me anymore, he threw me on the streets even though he turned me into a werewolf. For years I was homeless but I found a gang to live with. They took me to the mansion and took care of me. Our cousins Rachel and Shelly were the ones to find me. I never saw you again until Hunter brought me to you."

"Woah, so we are twin sisters but spilt apart?"

"Yes and now our father is in look for you."

"Whyy?"

"Its your blood. Before the full moon arrives again he must have you to drink your blood. Your blood is worth everything to him. He's dying and without your blood he can no longer live."

'He can't have my blood."

"Thats why we are trying to keep you away from Kieran and his group."

"The moon is only the shape of the waxing cresent. That means we barely have 2 weeks to the full."

"Rose. I'm sorry about everything, I didn't want you to live your like this."

"It's not your fault Kim." 

Kim smiled and quickly walked back to the car. Rose stopped her "Kim we need to find Hunter remember?"

"Hes not here. They tricked us into coming here we must hurry before they find us."

"Where could he be?"

"Back at the high school."

"Why there?"

"The basement. But we have to go back to the mansion to grab some weapons."

"Okay."

Rose and Kim both entered the car. While driving the conversation was silent until Rose was the first to speak. "Kim do you really love Hunter?"

"Rose just like I said before I would take a silver bullet for him. Loving him is hard to do because he loves you. Watching him love someone else is like ripping my heart out smashing it to the ground into tiny pieces. When he kissed you it proved to me that he would never kiss me the same."

"I'm sorry Kim. I didn't ask for him to love me."

"Love comes naturally and sometimes you just have to deal with the fact you love them and theres no way of stopping yourself."

"Hunter should be yours Kim."

"I don't control who Hunter loves. I know he loves me but not in that kind of way. Don't worry about my love life."

"Okay sorry I asked."

The two girls were back at the mansion. Kim took Rose to their secret lab full supplied of weapons. Rose was stunned about how amazing this place is. Rachel came down to the room hearing company. "Oh its just you Kim." 

"Yeah and this is Rose."

"Nice to finally meet you Rose. Im your cousin Rachel. Shelly is upstairs reading books to find more about your blood type."

"Nice to meet you too." Rose shook hands with Rachel. Rose felt happy to finally have family there to support her. 

"Rachel I need you to guard the mansion get everyone with weapons. I have a feeling the wolf pack knows where we are located. We need to get this place protected and under control. War can start at any moment. I have to go back to the school to get Hunter." Kim said while passing weapons to her and Rose.

"The time is here already. We have trained for years. Don't worry I will get this place guarded. Hurry go save Hunter."

"Come on Rose lets go." Rose nodded her head and followed after Kim. 

"Rose when you go to the school and you see Kierans gang, if you see a Nicole and Ashely tell them I'm sorry for leaving the dark side."

"Will do." Rose was out the door when Rachel was calling all the wolves down to the lab. Rose and Kim were back in the driveway. Before Kim got in the car she noticed a Rose in the passengers seat of the car Rose drove in.

"Rose where did you get that?"

"What that Rose?"

"Yes."

"Kieran gave it to me in the garden. He told me I will need it for the future. I don't get why I will need it."

"Don't you see when we found our mother she was dead with a rose in her hands!"

"Oh my gosh. I remember Taylor saying she had to drop off six roses at the graveyard. Wait a minute. Taylor is...one of them?!"

"Rose! Taylor sided with Kieran!"

"She was the one who gave me my phone back."

"They know where we are. The time has come. We need Hunter back. Wait you said six roses. You have one, your mother has one, and there are four more. Five more people will die during this battle. When they do die a rose  will be placed in their hands to resemble the goodness of that peson."

"That makes more sense. I dont want people to die for me though."

"Some people are meant dying for."

Rose gave Kim a loving face knowing she really is her sister. They were back driving to the school arrving in a short amount of time. Kim snuck into a small door that lead to the basement. Rose hurried along staying close behind her. Through a window the both of them can see Hunter chained up to the ground. His eyes were closed showing how much pain he was in. Rose whispered his name into the mirror leaving fog on the window. Hunter heard her call and looked up. Through his face you can tell he was happy but confused at the same time. He shook his head telling them to leave right now. Two eyes were facing the two girls behind the glass. Kieran opened the door.

"Hello my love." Kieran brightly said.
