Midnight Strikes Again

Chapter 5 - Missing

"Oooucchhh stop pulling me hair that hurts!" Rose shouted.

"Shhh...Rose be quiet."

"Taylor what are you doing here?"

"I followed you here."

"What? How?"

"Don't worry about it. Look what I found."

"My phone thank gosh! Wait now Hunter is going to be looking for nothing!"

"I found Hunter when I went out to the graveyard."

"Why were you at the graveyard?"

"Because I had to drop off six roses."

"Oh Sorry. But what about Hunter? What did you tell him?"

"I told him he can go back home. I told him I will take your phone to you."

"Well as long as he is safe."

"Come on Rose, lets get you home."

"Okay Taylor, man I think you ripped out a part of my hair"

"Sorry, I had to pull you out of the road."

"It's okay, lets just get out of here."

Rose and Taylor made their way to Taylor's car. Both girls didn't say a word the whole ride. Although Rose seemed a little suspicious of Taylor. Soon they arrived at Roses house.

"Here's your phone Rose, try not to loose it again."

"Thanks Taylor."

Rose opened the door of the car and ran inside. Taylor picked up her cell

Phone and dialed a number.

"She's back at home. I know where they are hidden. It's time for us to finally show them who we are."

"Good. Keep an eye on Rose. We have Hunter with us."

"Our time has finally come."

"Get back to work."

"Bye Babes."

"Don't call me babes it's Kieran."

"Right sorry."

Taylor drove away with an evil smirk on her face.

Back at Roses house, Rose looked around her house in look for her mom.

She went into her bedroom to find a note on her desk. It read

Dear Rose,

Come meet me at the Garden near the School. I will be waiting.

Love Hunter

Rose went into her moms room and took her keys to the car. Strange how her moms car is home and she's not in the house? Rose quickly drove to the school wanting to see Hunter really badly. All she needed was to see his face. Rose soon made it to the Garden. She walked into the greenhouse and found another note that read:

"Almost there."

Then she walked farther into the house another note was found.

"Keep going till you reach the back."

Rose made it to the back where she found another note:

"Turn around."

Rose turned around to see Kieran standing there holding a Rose.

"Kieran?"

"Yes my lady?"

"I thought what what are you doing here?"

"You should know  you obviously read the note."

"Yeah but it was from Hunter."

"There was no way I could have gotten you here easier."

"What do you want with me?"

"I just wanted to give you this rose."

"Why?"

"You will need it for the future."

"What do you mean?"

"You will see." 

Kieran slowly left the Garden leaving Rose clueless. 

"Kieran! Wheres Hunter!" 

Kieran didn't respond because he was already gone. Rose knew what she had to do. She ran out of the Garden and making her way into the car. She placed the Rose on the passengers seat, while shifting gears from park to drive. Rose pushed on her gas pedal going 40 miles over the speed limit. Her highbeams brightened up the road as she made it to the mansion safely. Rose jumped out of the car and knocked very violently on the door. Kim answered the door.

"You came back huh?"

"It's Hunter they have him!"

"What the hell are you talking about?!"

"Kieran and his gang they took him!"

"What are we waiting for hurry get in the car, we need to get him!"

"Okay!"

Kim took off driving to the graveyard. Eventually she made it to the end where the master was hidden. There was Rose's mother laying on the ground with a rose placed in her hands. Rose flung opened the car door and hurried over to her mother.

"Mother?! What have they done?"

Kim checked for her pulse. "Shes dead."

"What?!"

"I'm sorry Rose."

"I have no family left."

"Thats not true."

"What do you mean?"

"You still have a family member alive besides your father."

"Who is it?"

"I'm your sister Rose."
