Midnight Strikes Again

Chapter 7- One Problem After Another

"Kieran! Give us Hunter back!" Rose screamed

"I don't think so it wont be that easy."

"How can I have him back? Look at him he's hurt!"

"We will do a trade. You trade yourself in and we will let your precious little Hunter go."

"Deal. Just let him go and take me. Leave him and his werewolf family out of this."

"Rose, Are you sure you want to do this?" Kim asked quietly.

"Yes, just follow along I have a plan." Rose whispered.

"Perfect." Kieran walked over to Hunter unlocking him from the chains. Hunter sat there with an evil disgrace towards Kieran. Hunters skin began to become ful of fur again. Hunter growled at Kieran. Kieran waved goodbye to Hunter while he cuffed Roses arms. Hunter walked up to Rose and whined. 

"Why Rose? Why would you do this?"

"Hunter its better off you and your family get out."

"I cant let you go."

"Hunter, you  have to trust me."

Hunter stumbled off out of the room understanding by what Rose meant. Kieran closed the door so no one could come in to get Rose.

"Kim are you okay?"

"Yes Hunter. Taylor was on Kierans side this whole time. She knows where we are located. I have a feeling that while Rose and I left to come get you war has already started back at home. I told Rachel to get everyone with weapons and to be ready to fight."

"I thought this day would never come. Come on we have to figure out a way to get Rose out of there. Lets check back at the house first though."

"So Rose why did you let Hunter go?" Kieran shrugged.

"Because...I don't like seeing him get hurt. Why does it matter to you?"

"It doesnt matter to me. I just wanted to know Rose. Do you like Hunter the same way as he loves you?"

"I..I don't know for sure. Yeah I love him but I don't know if I love him in that kind of way."

"And why is that Rose?"

"Because."

"Because you are in love with me still arent you. Ever since you saw me you loved me."

"Thats not true."

"Oh please, you love spending time with me even though i'm evil."

"No."

Kieran leaned in closer to Rose. Rose couldn't help herself. She wanted to look away but she couldn't move.  Kieran stared dead into Roses eyes. He placed his lips upon hers. She kissed him back just the same. Butterflys grew stronger and stronger in her stomach. She didn't want to let go. Suddenly Taylor came busting through the door. Kieran stopped and moved away from Rose. 

"Kieran? What is going on in here?" Taylor panicked. 

"You couldn't knock!" Kieran shouted loudly

"I'm sorry Kieran. Ugh I can't believe you though. You too Rose, what are you thinking?!"

Rose looked away trying not to look at one of her ex- best friends. 

"Wait till I tell the master what you have been doing! Instead of bringing her to him your too busy making out!" Taylor threatened.

"Okay I had enough of your nonsense. Its time you left Taylor." Kieran moaned.

"What do you mean Its time I left?"

At that moment Kieran pulled out his silver gun from his back pocket and pointed it at Taylor. Taylor froze wanting to backaway but she was afraid he can shoot at any moment. Rose heard Kieran pull the gun back setting it to shoot once he pulled the trigger. Rose shouted "No Kieran!" Kieran pulled the trigger aiming the gun right at Taylors heart. Taylor mouthed the words "Im sorry Rose." The silver bullet went through her heart killing her in an instant. Rose started to tear up knowing that even though Taylor was one of them she had a good side to her. Kieran walked over and placed a rose in the hands of Taylor. Rose gave Kieran a dirty look. She knew Kieran now had three roses while Rose still had hers. 

"Kieran were you the one to kill my mother?"

"No. It wasn't me Rose. Just because I just killed this dirtbag here doesnt mean I killed her. Ugh I got to get her out of here."

Kieran left the room while dragging Taylor out of it. He shut the door softly locking it as he closed it. Rose sat there in the corner in distress. Already two people she loved has died in such a short amount of time. 

*Back at the mansion*

Hunter parked the car. Before him and Kim exited the car Kim stopped him. "Hunter if anything happens to the two of us I want to tell you now that I love you."

"Kim, I know you love me. I love you too but I don't feel the same way."

"I know and its okay. I get that now."

Kim walked out of the car. Before she stopped she saw her family attacking a pack of wolves. Hunter grunted while he got out of the car until he realized what Kim was starring at. The two of them grabbed their weapons that were in the backseat of the car. They snuck up behind the bushes. They began shooting their guns killing five wolves. Rachel and Shelly took a deep breath and thanked Kim and Hunter for saving them. 

"There will be alot more coming."

"I'm well aware."Shelly said "You have to come check out what I found in this book."

All four of them walked in the house. Shelly grabbed the book from off the shelf and sat them down.

"Okay so you know that Rose is the main source that the master needs right. Well its more than that he needs. Together he must have the blood of two. Rose and her twin sister. Not just that either. He needs a bond of true love to make the potion work."

"True love?" 

"Yes to keep the human body alive, love keeps the mind flowing. Love is what makes our charatcer."

"So your saying the master needs Kim along with Rose? Plus true love?" Hunter asked confusingly.

"Yes."

"The first night of the full moon is when they will attack. We must have Rose with us. Where is Rose?"

"They took her."

"Omg one problem after another. You have to go get her."

"Don't worry we have a plan."
