Chapter 3 The Sweet One

A werewolf jumped out from behind the tree attacking Kieran. Kieran formed into a werewolf. His fur was so rich in black and gray it made his fur priceless. Kieran fought back with the blonde werewolf until Rose realized those hazel eyes.

"Hunter?" Rose screamed.

Kieran and Hunter began to fight even more causing Rose to be more anxious. Hunter scratched Kieran back saying "That's for scratching me before!"

"Oh I'm so sorry." Kieran smirked.

"Give her back! What do you want with Rose?"

"Don't worry about it, you can go back to your little business."

"My business includes Rose, so why do you need her?"

"Hey girl, down over here!" Rose shouted.

"Shut up!" Kieran yelled back.

"Don't talk to her like that!"

"I can do whatever I want."

"Kieran I'll help you with whatever you need just please stop hurting him!"

"Then get up lets go." Kieran grunted.

"Rose?! Don't go with him!"

"Sorry Hunter, I think it's time for you to go home and get some rest I will be fine."

"Ha you heard her get out pal, she doesn't need you here."

Hunter looked at her with such despair only wanting Rose to be safe. His hazel eyes began to turn a bright red. Hunter took off without saying another word. Rose could hear his whining in the distance.

"Okay so what now?" Rose said upestly.

"The master is waiting lets get moving."

Slowly Rose turned back around wanting to see the face of Hunter again, wishing he would have came back.

"Hop onto my back, we will get there faster that way." Kieran wolfed.

Rose hopped onto the back of Kieran. He ran through the woods with so much speed Rose held on tight to his fur. His fur was so soft and smooth. Soon they arrived at a tumbstone that reached the end of the graveyard. Rose jumped off his back while he got up.

"Master I brought you her."

A voice was heard through the tumbstone, the voice sounded so familar to Rose.

"Bring her down."

Kieran opened the tumbstone that lead a pathway down to a secret labatory. Rose went in first and Kieran followed in after but first he had to change back to human form. He was now human again and grabbed some extra clothes he had hidden nearby just in case he ever needed them. As Kieran was putting his shirt over his head, a loud thud hit him in the back slamming him into a fence. Rose forced her way out of the tumbstone looking up at the creature that nearly killed Kieran.

"Thank God hes out for a while." the woman said happily.

"Uh who are you?' Rose asked

"My name is Kim, I'm a friend of Hunter."

"Huh, Hunter never told me about a Kim before."

"Yeah he doesn't talk about his friends alot, but he talks about you all the time. It drives me insane conseidering I love the boy to death but I support him."

"Hunter talks about me."

"I think I said too much lets get out of here I hear a pack coming."

'Okay but what about Kieran?"

"He will be out for a bit, his gang will find him."

"Alright lets go then!"

The master was yelling through the tumbstone. Calling out for Kieran. "WHERE IS SHE!"

"Hurry! We must go now!

Kim and Rose was making a run for it before anyone could find them. Kim took Rose by the arm pulling her faster. Back at the graveyard Jake and his pack found Kieran laying on the floor.

"She must have escaped!" Jake wolfed angrily. He sniffed the floor and found the sense of Rose and another werewolf smell.

"Ew, the smell of good makes me sick." Jake gagged. "Follow the smell, we must get her back." Half of the pack stayed back trying to get Kieran up, the other half was already close to reaching the girls. Kim and Rose finally made it to Kim's convertiable. They hopped inside the car and drove off. The werewolves were out of the woods following behind the car. Kim speeded up on the gas pedal loosing the wolves behind.

"That was a close one." Kim said with a bright smile.

Rose looked at Kim. She loved the way her long dark brown hair matched her brown eyes. Its amazing how pretty a werewolf can be. Rose was jealous of her good looks but shrugged and looked back out the window.

"This is a beautiful car you have here."

"Thanks I love the color red of it too it makes the car seem more dangerous ya know."

"Yep pretty dangerous haha. So Kim tell me more about you."

"Well I grew up here in Mighty Falls. Recently my ex and I broke up. I never knew a guy can be such a jerk. But I'm glad to have my girls to back me up. I'm a free woman now who's single. Hunter is my bestest friend ever. I love him so much I would talk a silver bullet for him."

"Wow, that's some pretty deep feelings for Hunter and congrats on being a free woman now it feels good doesn't it."

"Yes indeed."

"You're not like other people here in Mighty Falls."

"Well i'm a werewolf too but I'm the only sweet one in this town. I'm surprised you're not shocked about werewolves."

"Oh I am, I just thought it was myth. I always had a feeling Mighty Falls was a weird town."

"Haha. Well don't worry my side of the werewolf family is the safe kind. Stay with us and you should be fine. We are trying to protect you from our enemies which was Kieran and his group."

"Why do they want me exactly?"

"When we get back to my house, I will explain more. Right now I need to get you there to see Hunter he needs to know you are okay."

"I can call him...wait my phone I must have dropped it at the graveyard."

"Oh no."

"What's wrong?"

"If they find your phone they can track down Hunter. Then they will attack us. We have been hiding in a secret area for centuries and they can never find us. If they find us it will start a war."

Rose sat there looking scared for her life.

"Can I panic now?" Rose asked terrifed.
