The room was breathtaking. Deep green walls, white borders on the bottom, a pair of white framed french doors, leading to a quartz balcony, with a sky blue awning that could be rolled back in if you wanted to be in the sun. There was a navy blue sheeted black four poster king bed in the left corner of the room, about three meters away from the wall. There was a window on either side of the room, allowing light to file through the open blinds and setting the whole room off, making it look heavenly, there was a mirror on the right wall, in the centre and there was a door on the opposite wall of the balcony, a little closer to the right wall, that door was white and I was guessing that it led to my wardrobe. There was a deep sea greenish blue night table set between the bed and the wall. There were shelves on the right wall, on the side of the mirror that was closer to the front wall. They had all of my favourite books liked across them in the perfect order, tallest to shortest. There was an oaken desk below the shelves, tight against the wall, and there was a trash can next to it. My room was large but that may have been the effect of the ceiling coloured a pale blue. There were more minor details, but you get the gist of it.
Skylar flicked a light switch, bathing the room in a soft glow. It was heaven on earth, I was too busy fighting the impulse to crash on a well padded black chair pushed under the mirror, it was too much.
Skylar looked at me, pride in her eyes. "I arranged for it to look this way, in a sense, I just knew that whoever my mate was, they would love it here. She gestured to the white door, the wardrobe, I turned the handle with the same care that I took for the knob of my secret room. It just led to another small room, with three doors branching off of it. One was clearly the bathroom, with a neat do not disturb sign swinging gently from the new movement in the undisturbed room.
I opened the bathroom door, the counter was mother of pearl, the light reflecting off of it and casting soft rainbows around the room. The toilet was top brand, it had one of those cool sensor things on it where it would scan your hand and flush. There was a bathtub with a window, my privacy protection clearly thought of, there was a hole punctured blind that would roll up and down to my choosing. Then there was a soft lime green as the wall colour, and the ceiling was white. There was a cupboard on each side of the mirror above the sink. The sink bowl was a pastel assembling of all of my favourite blues, each colour made rich and eye catching. there was a plain white towel hanging from a smoky iron hook, close to the door. The bathtub was pearly white and it had green tiles surrounding it at the top height, connecting it to the wall and elegantly hiding the plumbing. There was a neat pile of towels stacked against the wall in arm's reach of the bathtub. One look at the bottom of the tub told me it was a jacuzzi. Looking on the side near the tap, I saw the bubble settings. Fun. The floor tiles were a honey yellow and worked well with the green tiles. The last details were the thick, and soft carpet, shaded with a pale grey. I was amused to see Skylar fascinating herself with the soap dispenser, holding her hands underneath it and squealing with delight when it poured some coconut scented foam into her outstretched palms.
Suddenly a well dressed man came running in and told us we had five minutes to be at the table with her parents, dressed to perfection.
