I smile at Brook, Andy and Mikey who look very uncomfortable about the situation. Lightly tapping the ID that is clipped to my shirt I say:

-My name is Megan. That's where your things go, there's the locker room and that's the adult area. - I explain pointing to the green lockers that are against the right wall, the wooden door with the image of a man in blue and further to the back, where the huge space with trampolines of all sizes begins.

Brooklyn quickly slips off his shoes, runs outside and I laugh as I see him jump up and down screaming in absolute bliss. Andy picks up his sneakers shaking his head and walks to the lockers to put his belongings away. Mikey is still standing in front of me and opens his mouth with the intention of saying something, but then closes it as he shoots a sidelong glance at his friend.

-Well, have fun! Feel free to do whatever you want, with care obviously. If you need something... - I start, but am rudely interrupted by the nameless idiot.

- Do they pay you to annoy clients with stupid warnings?

I'm dumbfounded, not knowing what to say. What the hell is wrong with him?

- What the hell is wrong with you? - Mikey asks as if he can read my mind, looking at him angrily. - She didn't say anything wrong and she's very nice, by the way. Behave, Ryan!

- First, it's Rye. - he says, rolling his eyes. Then he folds his arms, looks me from head to toe and raises one of his dark eyebrows. - Second, it's not the first time I've been to Gravity. It also exists where I come from and I know how it works, thank you very much.

-Then you should go back to where you came from. - I spit, angrily. - I didn't mean to offend you, I'm just doing my job.

-Oh, someone's got character, huh? - he smiles in amusement at my response. And despite my anger, I can't help but think how adorable he looks doing it.

- Yes. I don't tolerate narcissistic idiots. British, American or wherever they come from.

-That's your impression. And a very wrong one, by the way.

- Ha! - Mikey bursts out laughing. Rye squints at him, but he just shrugs and smiles apologetically at me. - Come on Rye, the boys are waiting for us. Leave her alone.

I follow them with my eyes, shaking my head to calm down. Fortunately, the hours fly by and before I know it, my shift is almost over. I had to try hard on several occasions not to look in his direction and failed miserably, of course. I caught him watching me a couple of times and then smiling smugly, showing off with his flips and jumps, looking like a fucking ninja.

The clock strikes 3pm, I'm more than ready to go. As I grab my bag, I notice Rye laughing with Andy. His wet t-shirt is pulled tight to his body and I can see his abs underneath. He smiles when he notices me watching him and takes the opportunity to brush his bangs out of his face. My heart thumps hard against my chest and I know I'm blushing. He beckons me over with a hand gesture and I approach cautiously.

-Before you go, I wanted to tell you that...- he whispers when I'm in front of him and I wait, expectantly. - ...you should clean up that puddle of drool. Someone could slip and get hurt.

I blush furiously and mumble: -But... no... I don't....

I turn around dead embarrassed, his laughter echoing in my head. I push open the doors to leave, harder than I should, grateful for the breeze hitting my face.

- AGH! - I exclaim furiously, receiving a few glances from people passing by me. I try to clear my mind, but I go back to thinking about his muscular body, his lips and his masculine voice, with that fascinating accent.

He is sexy, attractive, and seductive... a perfect combination as well as dangerous.

The classic heartbreaker.

I pray silently that I will never have to see him again. Although fate always has other plans in store for me.
