The first week was spent in a grueling routine.

Get up, work, exercise, keep Sam and Cameron from murdering each other, eat, sleep. I don't know what kind of "work" requires my brother to go out every night, but I let him do what he wants. Even if he wanted to avoid it, it's in his nature to be a hopeless bachelor.

On Friday, Sam left early for the gym so Cam and I decided to go out for breakfast at Starbucks, taking advantage of my day off. After waiting an hour and a half for him to finish fixing his hair in front of the mirror, he comes out of the bathroom wearing ripped black jeans, black Converse and a gray string pullover.

- Finally, asshole! It's taken you a thousand years! - I exclaim looking at him reproachfully.

- Don't be exaggerated. - he says smiling as he squeezes my cheek and I push him away, but I smile anyway. His humor is contagious. - I had to look sexy in case I pass a cute girl on the street. Besides, it makes my fan photos look better, don't you think?

- Yeah, whatever. - I roll my eyes. - They love you anyway, Cam. Unbearable and ugly as you are.

He pretends to be offended, but lets out a self-centered laugh. I take my keys, take one last look in the mirror and we leave. We pass a couple of surprised fans, who after their photos, leave very happy and some of them even cry with emotion. Others even ask me if they can take a picture with me and I refuse, as always.

These situations make me a little uncomfortable, but what I like about my brother is that he is very sociable and always treats them well, repeats how much he loves them and thanks them for their unconditional support. To be honest, at first I hated his decision to start uploading videos to the Internet. I thought it was a waste of time, but then I could see how happy he was doing it, so I decided to swallow my opinions and support him completely.

We go in and the smell of coffee fills me completely. We order our usual and go to sit down. Cam starts taking some pictures of our breakfast to upload to his Instagram and I watch the street, waiting for him to finish. I'm focused on a couple walking hand in hand, laughing and I get nostalgic as I remember other times.

Suddenly, Cam asks me: - Meg? Have you talked to him?

- I'm really getting tired of saying this.... - I sigh. - No, he hasn't called me and he's not going to either. I'm resigned to it.

- Agh, that bastard... - he says quietly and frowns, looking down at his coffee. He shoots me fleeting glances and bites his lower lip.

- Okay, Cam. What's up? - I tell him to put an end to his indecision.

- It's just that... - he starts, uncomfortable. - ...I want to know why you broke up. He didn't want to tell me.

He and Sam are the people I trust the most, but I am embarrassed when I decide to tell him the truth.

- He cheated on me, Cameron. That's what happened; he cheated on me and then abandoned me.

- That son of a bitch! - he exclaims angrily making me startle, but I interrupt him before he can say anything else. - Wait... What do you mean he didn't want to tell you? Are you still talking to him?

- I'm sorry, Meg. I told him at the time that he was an idiot for leaving you and now I know why. Even if I don't share a lot of the things he does, he's my best friend. You know we have to see each other anyway, that we share sessions and other work together.

- The truth is I don't know because I don't like to pry into your stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm more than proud of everything you're accomplishing, but this is your life and I don't want to get involved. Your fans, your videos, your friends. I don't want to be part of that world where, if I walk down the street, people are chasing me and want a photo with me. Do you understand?
