Mike's POV

Lila-May is just the cutest little baby in the world! She does a cute little giggle when we play peek-a-boo and she waves her legs and arms when she is happy. Jamie has had her every weekend and she has loved it at his and Hannah's place apparently.

Hannah is actually giving birth right now. She has Katie and Jamie with her, and I'm looking after Lila-May. She is crying though, clearly wanting Mummy more than Daddy.

Katie comes out and I beam at her, waiting to go in and meet the new arrival when my love bursts into tears. It's horrible watching her cry as she is usually so happy.

"She... Was... A... Stillborn," she manages to choke out. I then hold my beautiful girl and rock her gently.

Jamie comes out a bit later, when Katie is resting her head on my lap.

"She's asleep," he croaks, hoarse from all the crying he's clearly done.

Jamie hadn't been ready to be a father, but he stepped up to the plate with Katie. He had been childish before, irresponsible, but as soon as he saw his daughter for the first time he grew up.

He bought a flat, started paying for his kid, got a job to pay for the flat and his baby and his pregnant fiancee. Jeremy Kyle would have thought more of pregnant teens. He had been so ready to have another child, so ready to do it right with this one. And now it had been taken away from him.

But then we heard someone crying and panting in Hannah's room. Jamie ran in and called a nurse on that buzzer thingy. Three nurses ran into the small, bleak, uninviting room and then we heard a baby crying.

A nurse came out and beckoned us into the room so I gently shook Katie until she woke up and we walked in.

"She was pregnant with twins," Jamie beamed down at Hannah who was holding the new born.

"Girl or boy?" I asked.

"Boy," he grinned.

Katie walked over and cooed at the baby, and I hugged Jamie. It is funny what bring a family together, a birth or a death are the main ones. But both celebrate life. Both are the only times you are going to have people who truly love you around you, the only difference is how many people love you in the end.

As soon as Hannah and her baby, who she decided to name Taylor, were allowed home we drove them back. Me and Katie then went home and crawled into bed, although it was actually seven in the morning.

I awoke at about ten and saw Katie sleeping peacefully next to me. We had moved closer to each other so we were entwined as we had slept, and I was looking straight at her. Her hair was fanned out behind her, and she had a tiny bit of drool escaping from her mouth, but not in a disgusting "get away from me" way, in a cute "look at her" way.

After a while of being an Edward Cullen I got up to check on Lila-May. Normally she'd be bawling her eyes out at this time.

I went and looked in her cot. She wasn't there!

I want some comments so if you want a shout out comment something funny, one I laugh hardest at I give a shout out to the person.
