1. My New Life

Okay so as you should know I'm Jyn Erso. I have been searching forever for somewhere that finally accepts me. I have gone from planet to planet looking for somewhere to call home. I finally found the Rebel Base located on Yavin 4. I can safely be here and help the Rebellion. I was walking down a hallway when a droid stopped me and told me Mon Mothma was looking for me. I wonder what that's about. She was waiting for me in the main hanger of the base.

"Hello Jyn. It's nice to see you again." Mon Mothma said. Standing next to her was a guy who I think is a pilot for the Rebellion.

"Hello Mon Mothma. Why did you want to see me?" I said.

"Jyn this is Cassian Andor" She said pointing to the guy next to her. "He will be teaching you how to pilot a ship. It will come in handy when fighting for the Rebellion."

"It's very nice to meet you Jyn. I have heard great things about you." Cassian said. He was kind of cute. I wasn't really looking to date anyone right now but there is just something about him.

"Hi nice to meet you to Cassian." I said.

"Well I guess I better go and put together the plans for our next mission. I'll see the two of you later." Mon Mothma said before walking of to go to her ship.

"So teach me how to be a successful pilot I guess but warning It might be a lot of work. The last time I tried to fly anything I crashed into another ship." I said with a smile. Cassian laughed.

"Well we better get started then." He said smiling.

We walked off to his ship. He will be teaching me how to fly it. His ship was a U-wing fighter. I couldn't wait to start training. I always wanted to learn to pilot something just I never had anyone to teach me. I always had to pay someone to fly me to a different planet and the ride wasn't always cheap. Once we were on the ship he started teaching me the basics of flying. Like, what buttons to push and when to push them. How to successfully launch the ship into lightspeed. He also taught me how to fix a few things. After a couple hours of training we decided to call it quits for the day and continue training the next day.

"Your doing amazing for a first time pilot." Cassian told me.

"All thanks to the teacher." I said.

"No..no way I could be doing good as a teacher. I think you just catch on to things easy." Cassian said.

"Okay...so maybe it is mostly me" I said with a smirk. "But you gotta give yourself a little credit."

"Okay Okay I guess I'm a decent teacher." He said with a smile.

"Well I gotta go but I'll see you tomorrow." I said.

"Yea..meet me tomorrow at my ship at around noon and I'll let you try and fly a little." Cassian said. I nodded my head and waved. As I was walking back to my quarters a droid called K-2SO.

"You know my master doesn't really act like that around people he first meets. He is normally quiet and hurries through things. With you he seems to be more open and energetic. He must like you. Have a good day Madam." The droid said before walking away.

I was kind of stunned at what the droid had told me. Does Cassian like me? Maybe just as a friend. I don't know. I'm not good at relationships. Oh well I sleep on it and see what I think in the morning. I continued walking to my quarters and as soon as I arrived I flopped right on my bed and fell asleep. I couldn't wait to start my training with Cassian tomorrow.

There you go my Starflys. My first Jassian fanfic. I like Reylo but I might like Jassian more. I don't know yet. This story will go entirely different than what happened in Rogue One but I hope you still enjoy it.
