2. Maybe Just Maybe

Come on...Come on....Come on. I was sitting in front of my clock waiting for it to be 11:30am. That's when I would start heading to Cassian's ship.

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

That would be my alarm clock. I practically bolted out the door. I was really excited. I went to eat some food before I went to see Cassian. After I finished eating I looked at the time and I was right on time. I took the short walk to Cassian's ship. The door was open so I went inside.

"Cassian...Cassian! Are you in here!" I yelled. Then out of nowhere someone grabbed me around my waist and picked me up and spun me around.

"Boo!" Cassian yelled.

"Cassian!" I yelled. We both fell on the floor and started laughing.

"Okay Jyn welcome back to my ship for Day 2 of pilot training." Cassian said.

"Okay where in Pilot Training did it say 'prepare for jumping person out of shadow'?" I said with a hint of sarcasm.

"Yeah yeah yeah alright. Come on. Today you get to fly this ship." Cassian told me.

We headed over to the cockpit and I got to sit in the pilot seat. Cassian took a seat in the co-pilot seat. I followed the instructions he told me yesterday and I successfully flew us out of the hanger and did a circle around the base before heading to land us back in the hanger. I was a bit unsteady with the landing. The ship started to wobble so Cassian helped me.

"Here slowly ease the lever forwards." Cassian said. His hand touched mine which sent chills through my body. He pushed my hand forward and helped steady it. My hand was a little shaky. Once we were safely on the ground I turned to look at Cassian, his hand was still on mind.

"How about I take you on a date sometime?" Cassian said looking into my eyes intensely.

"That would be great." I said looking back at him.

"How about tonight at 8pm at the Starfly Cantina. It's not far from here." Cassian said still looking at me intensely. He was now holding my hand.

"I'll see you there." I said.

He let go of my hand and sat back in his seat. I leaned back in my seat. We were still staring at each other. Then his droid K-2SO came up from behind.

"Excuse me sir, the ship seems to have slight damage in it's left wing." K-2SO said.

"I should go check that out." Cassian said breaking the silence between us.

"Yea I'll see you tonight I guess." I said with a smile.

"Yea I'll see you there. I can't wait." Cassian said before leaving the ship.

I took a deep breath before leaving the ship myself. I couldn't believe I was going out on a date with Cassian. I really liked Cassian. This is actually happening. Only right now it's 2pm and the date is at 8pm. This is gonna be a long day. I don't care though I finally get to go on a date with a good guy. Maybe just maybe Cassian will be the guy for me.

I am really enjoying this book. I am going to try to make this book 10-15 chapters long but I might make it a sequel. It all depends on how many reads an votes I get. Thanks for reading.
