Kiley:
"Students, there's a new member in our class," our teacher announced with a gleeful tone.
I didn't really pay much attention to the teacher babbling about the new student, so I simply kept on scribbling on my notebook. All I got was his name.
Alfred, right? Maybe.
Well, aren't you a nice ray of fucking sunshine today, Kiley? I thought to myself.
A few seconds after, she'd continue the class and I'd still pay no attention.
"Psst," Tory hissed from beside me. I sighed and leaned close to her.
"What?" I hissed back.
"Did you hear about the new kid?" She said, a strange smile stretching across her lips.
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah, his name is Arnold. I don't care." I waved her off and leaned back on my seat.
"Andrew," she corrected.
"Same difference."
She kept quiet and continued to write on her notebook.
The bell rung and I picked up my things, leaving the room as quick as possible. I just want to get home.
