Makeup done with eyeshadow I got at L'Oréal in Paris? Check! Authentic jewelry from Jan Logan in Australia? Check! Ripped skinny jeans and silver crop top I got from Forever 21 in Times Square? Check! Now I'll throw in my favorite black high-heels then I think I'll be prepared enough to call myself ready. I did a few final look-overs to be completely sure I am.

The fact that in less than an hour, I'll be reunited with Rocky left my heart pounding, adrenaline soaring through my system, and chills flying across my limbs.

As I continued to prepare, another memory from our temporary relationship arose. Without fighting the tension created by my reminiscing, I allowed myself to sink into my thoughts, treasuring every moment I relived.

This experience took me back to roughly under a year ago, when R5 released their newest album, and threw a huge party to celebrate their success. Rocky had his hands wrapped around the curve of my waist, my arms resting on his shoulders, with a secure grip on his neck. Music from the new record blared out of the speakers located throughout the area. Such a stimulating environment, yet all I focused on was Rocky's captivating eyes. "This is great, baby. The music, the party, everything. Now just hold me a little closer and we can see how far the night dares to take us," I whispered sexily. He immediately followed my orders and pressed my chest against his. "Oh babe.... I think we can do better than that," he chuckled before sweeping me nearly off my feet into a smooth dip. My back bent into an arch, and my dark hair draped down to the earth. I giggled to signify satisfaction. Before I could think, my body flew upwards and I landed in the posture we held each other in before. "Ah baby, you do it so well," I moaned.
Without another word, Rocky pressed his palm on the back of my head, and pulled me toward him. I shut my eyes and allowed our lips to intertwine peacefully.

A sudden knock on my bathroom door acted as the my oneway ticket back to reality. "Yeah?" I called, trying to reconnecting myself to the present.
"Hey. How's it going?" Alexis said as she walked in.
"You tell me," I replied as I showed myself off.
"Dammit, Brooke. How did you get so much frickin' hotter than me?" My friend asked.
"I'll assume that means I look good," I laughed.

She stared at me for a few seconds with a vacant expression on her face. "OH!" She finally shouted. "I forgot, I came in to give you this," my friend explained. Alexis's hand opened, revealing a beautiful black sequined choker necklace. My mouth flew open at the sight of such a beautiful necklace. "I was saving it for something special, but you need it more tonight, in my opinion."
"Thank you so much!" I wrapped my arms around her in a tight hug.
"No problem. Now you better get going. Sexy guys don't like it when their girls show up late," Alexis joked. That was the moment I realized she was right and sprung into the streets of LA to meet my bae once again.

I sat alone on a curb outside of the club, waiting for Rocky. After seven minutes or so, a tall shadow towered over me. I glanced up to see my old friend standing above me. Without hesitation I lifted myself up to greet him. "Hey, Rocky," I said. "Long time, no see." Carelessly, I jerked myself towards him to form a hug.
"Hey, Brooke." He stared at my outfit. "Wow... You're hotter than I remember," he admitted.

I stared back at Rocky. He's more gorgeous than my memories too. His chestnut brown hair dangled past his shoulders, and I counted at least three new tattoos. But he still had the same sparkling green eyes that I fell in love with.

Next, we made our way inside. Multiple figures were bathed in the neon lights, and once me and Rocky hit the floor, we joined the many silhouettes. The two of us locked eyes, and danced the way we did in the past. Our bodies were close enough to feel the transfer of heat from one to another. "I'll be right back. I have to go tell Ryland something," Rocky said before disappearing to speak to his brother on the deejay tables.

One of my favorite songs started playing seconds later: "Fallingforyou" by The 1975. Then he returned. "I remember how much you liked this song," he whispered.
"I still love it," I whispered back.
"Shall we dance?"
I nodded with a smile.

I paid attention to the lyrics as we glided around the floor. It didn't take me long to notice that they can relate to how I feel about Rocky.

"Oh, I want you now, I want you now.
When the smoke is in your eyes, you look so alive. Do you fancy sitting down with me? Maybe?
You're all I need.
According to your heart, my place is not deliberate.
The feeling of your arms; I don't wanna be your friend. I wanna kiss your neck.

Don't you see me?
I, I think I'm falling, I'm falling for you
Don't you need me?
I, I think I'm falling, I'm falling for you.
And on this night, in this light
I think I'm falling, I'm falling for you."
