LØRDAG 21:46

Isak was on his second beer. He was slightly buzzed but still sober enough to be bothered by the sweaty bodies that grinding on and around him - especially the small brunette girl who was shamelessly sticking her ass into his groin. Isak had been trying to escape the situation for a few minutes but couldn't find a way out of the pulsating mob of drunken teenagers that seemed to be barricaded around him. "Hey, babe." He whispers into the girls ear while lightly prying her off of his front side. "I have to piss." At this, the girl simply giggles and says something along the lines of "I'll come with you." Isak sighs and mentally face-palms. "Never mind." There was something about this girl that made him uncomfortable. In fact, he hadn't felt turned on or even remotely interested in a girl, well, ever. He had convinced himself that he just hadn't met the one yet.

After a few more minutes Isak was able to free himself from the girl and the crowd. He found his way outside where he was greeted by Jonas, who was holding a half-finished blunt. "Here." Jonas nods and hands it to Isak.

"Thanks." Isak was grateful to be away from the smell of the sweaty bodies that had been permeating his senses moments before. "Where's Magnus?" He asks, inhaling the smoke.

"Trying to hook up with Vilde, probably." Jonas laughs. "And Mahdi just went to the bathroom."

"And Eva?" Isak asks, tilting his head back and watching the smoke disperse as it left his mouth.

"I don't know." Jonas shrugs. "Doesn't matter."

Isak looks at Jonas and raises an eyebrow. "Really?" He muses. "It doesn't bother you to think that she could be hooking up with someone as we speak?"

"Not at all." Jonas shrugs, reaching for the blunt. "We broke up. It's none of my business what she does."

"How the fuck are you so chill, man?" Isak chuckles. "If my ex-girl was at a party, drunk and surrounding by Penetrator boys, I don't know if I'd be as chill as you. And you know how keen Chris is for her."

Jonas stays silent for a few moments. "What ex-girl, Isak?"

Isak groans. "Can you guys shut the fuck up about that, please? It was hypothetical. I know I've never had a girlfriend. No need to rub it in."

"It's just, you know." He pauses as if taking a moment to choose his next words carefully. "If there's anything you want to tell me, I'm here for you."

Isak's mouth drops open and he turns to face the other boy. "Woah, Jonas. You think I'm gay?"

Jonas shrugs. "I'm not saying you are or you aren't, I'm just saying that you can tell me."

"I'm not gay." Isak laughs incredulously. "What the fuck man, seriously? I think you've had enough pot."

"Isak?" A voice called from behind, interrupting the two boys. Even stood in the doorway with a worried expression. "Hey, Eva needs you."

"Is she alright?" Jonas frowns, jumping up from his seated position on the patio floor.

"Yeah, I think." Even bit his lip. "I don't know, she just called for you, Isak." Isak stands up and follows the taller boy as he led him back through the house.

"What's wrong?" Isak yells, trying to be heard over the pounding bass. "Is she okay?

Even doesn't reply but instead nods towards a tear-stained Eva in the corner of the room. "Go talk to her."

Isak rushes over to his friend who looked more fragile and vulnerable than he had ever seen her. "Eva?" He pulls her into a hug. "What happened?"

"I don't know his name." She whispers so quietly Isak wasn't even sure she had spoken at all.

"His name?" Isak pulls away to look at her. "Who's name?"

"We were hooking up, you know. Kissing a little bit, that's it. And then he started to get aggressive. Nothing happened because, well I ran away, but he kept trying to put his hands down my pants and I was yelling at him, telling him to stop, but he wouldn't listen. It was one of the Penetrator boys." She buries her face in her hands.

"Eva, oh my god." Isak pulls the girl back into a hug and rubs her head soothingly. "But you're alright? I mean, nothing else happened?"

"No, no." She shakes her head softly. "I got away before anything else could happen. Even was the first person I saw so I asked him to get you."

"I'm surprised that he remembered me." Isak says quietly, almost to himself.

This time it's Eva who pulls away from the hug. "Of course he does. You introduced yourself to him yesterday."

"Yeah." Isak nods. "I just didn't think I would have left much of an impression. Anyway, should we tell Jonas what happened? He'd beat the shit out of the guy if he knew."

"No." Eva furrows her brows. "I don't want him to worry about me."

"He doesn't." Isak laughs. "He's completely chill."

"He doesn't?" Eva frowns slightly. "I mean, that's good. It's just surprising."

LØRDAG 23:43

The party had settled down for the most part. It had been a few minutes since Jonas and the other boys left and it was now just Isak and Eva, sitting on a couch littered with red solo cups. Isak was sleepily watching Even chat with a third-year at the other side of the room. After a few moments, Even hugs the girl and waves goodbye to her, yawning as he does so. He glances back at Isak and smiles warmly, holding his gaze for a few moments before turning back around and exiting through the front door. Isak watches the girl scroll through her phone for a few moments before placing it in her back pocket and entering the kitchen.

"Hold on." Isak mutters to Eva as he follows the girl. She was clearing wine bottles off of the table top when she saw him.

"Hello." She smiles tiredly at Isak.

"Hey." Isak smiles quickly then glances at his feet. He waits a few moments before continuing. "You know Even, right?"

"Yeah." She laughs. "Why?"

"Do you..." He trails off. "Have his Instagram? Or Snapchat? Or anything?" His face was burning.

She looked sympathetically at the boy. "He doesn't have an Instagram. Do you want his Snapchat?"

Isak's eyes darted back up at her. "Yes." He said, maybe a little too happily.

"Here, give me your phone." Isak handed the girl he phone and she began typing in Even's username. "I do feel that I should tell you that you aren't the only one who's crushing on Even. Everyone likes him. Seriously." She laughs. "You're cute though. I'm sure he'll like you."

Isak could feel heat radiating from his cheeks. "What?" He scoffs. "I don't have a crush on him. What the fuck, why does everyone think I'm gay?

The girl simply looks at him and raises her eyebrows. "Alright. Well I added him. Good luck." She winks before handing Isak his phone.
