Apology in advance, I'm just trying to show short scenes of Yuri and Y/N, so there'll be a lot of time skips. Hope this doesn't irritate you guys! Also, I used google translate as I don't speak Russian at all! Feel free to correct me in the comments if it's wrong!

I didn't expect this chapter to turn out this long too! Part 3 will be up soon!

Thanks for reading in advance~

"Where are you going to stay?" I ask the blonde who was leaning against wall. "Here." He replied stiffly, folding his arms around his chest. "What?!" I screeched, nearly falling off the couch. He barely gave me a glance, but a soft chuckle escaped his lips. "Viktor said I wasn't allowed to let you out of my sight." He added on.

"I don't have a spare room or anything!" I exclaimed, genuine panic rushing through my veins. Viktor never told me about this! How can he be comfortable with this arrangement?! Just the thought of sleeping in the same room with this almost emotionless human send shivers down my spine. "It's fine, I've been trained to sleep standing up." My eyes widened in surprise. "Sleep standing up?" I questioned, incredulous that one could actually do such a thing.

"Isn't that uncomfortable?" He shrugged. "We were all forced to do so in training." I was taken aback, what kind of hellish training was that? "It's fine, I'll just pull out an extra mattress beside mine. You don't have to sleep standing up." After that, I went to search for the extra mattresses and blankets. By the time I returned to the living room, I found Yuri in the same place, except his eyes were closed. Was he sleeping? Didn't I just tell him I would set up a mattress for him?

Just as I was about to tap his shoulder, his eyes shot open, scaring me a little. "I assume the mattress is ready. Thank you." He bowed slightly, before walking towards my room. I rolled my eyes, trailing after him. Viktor... please hurry back, I don't want to be stuck with this bodyguard for another minute!

~Morning~

I sat up slowly at the sound of my alarm, surprised when I found no one on the mattress beside me. Rubbing my eyes, I shuffled out of my room, finding him slumped against the wall, his arms folded across his chest, and very much asleep. Why wouldn't he want to sleep in a mattress if he has one? Deciding to ignore the questions for now, I walked slowly into my bathroom to freshen up. He can continue sleeping there if he likes... Funny, why do I feel like I was awoken at night but I can't remember a thing about it?

~Time Skip~

"Yuri! Hurry up!" I yelled excitedly, rushing towards the entrance. He made a face, making no effort to quicken his footsteps despite the fact that the gap between us was widening. Upon seeing that I was about to get swallowed up by the crowd, he rushed forward, grabbing my hand and yanking me to a stop. "I get it that you're excited, but I can't let you out of my sight, so don't walk too fast, alright?" He reminded me. "You just need to walk faster, slowpoke." I stuck out my tongue, turning to run ahead again, but he tugged on my hand, causing me to look back at him.

"What is it now?" I snapped, slightly irritated that I had to be stuck with Yuri on my first trip to a theme park. "Here," He produced a white cloth, tying it around my wrist before knotting it around his too. "This way I won't lose you." He explained. I stared down skeptically at the cloth, pursing my lips. "What if I want to go on a ride?" He stared at me as if I was an idiot. "I'll untie it and we'll take it together, of course!" "Fine."

~Sunset~

"Let's take the ferris wheel!" I suggested excitedly. A soft sigh escaped his lips when his eyes caught sight of a small sign beside the entrance. "If two person rides it you have to kiss the other person at the top, you know." He stated, unamused. "I'm sure it's not compulsory..." I waved it off, dragging him towards the entrance. "идиот." He muttered under his breath.

"Now we're stuck at the top." He rolled his eyes when the ferris wheel halted. "Is this when we're supposed to kiss? This whole idea is stupid." I ignored his comments, too focused on the scenery below us. The sunset cast a warm golden glow on everything, making it look more beautiful that it already was. "Yuri, stop sulking in a corner and come look at th-"

Without warning, the cart jerked forward and started moving again, causing me to topple forward, crashing into Yuri. As we fell, I felt a soft pair of lips on mine. My eyes widened, pulling away immediately. "A-Are you hurt?" He stuttered, looking up at me. "No." I replied, avoiding eye contact with him. "C-Can you get off me, then?" I looked down and realised that I was straddling him, pinning him to the floor.

"Sorry!" I exclaimed, scrambling off him and backing away until I felt the glass pane behind me. "Don't tell Viktor about this!" I pleaded. "Do you think I'm an idiot? Of course I won't. Tch." He turned away, settling against the wall opposite mine. The cart was silent the entire trip down.

~Time Skip~

The rain poured down relentlessly, leaving us stranded at the cafe. I had wanted to grab a drink before heading back home but it started raining right when I stepped into the cafe. Neither of us remembered to bring an umbrella, so we had no way of getting home. Drumming my fingers against the wooden table, I stared out of the window. We haven't really talked much since the accidental kiss and things were awkward between us. "Here, you can take this umbrella if you want! I have many and it won't hurt to give you guys one so you can get home in this rain." The shop keeper said, jolting me out of my thoughts.

She handed me the umbrella, smiling kindly at us. "Thank you so much!" I bowed a little, nudging Yuri with my feet. "Say thanks!" I hissed in his direction. "Huh?" He tore his gaze away from the window, turning to look at me in confusion. He looked so vulnerable, unlike the angry Yuri that I was so used to seeing. "What are you looking at, idiot?" His face twisted into a scowl a second later, and I could swear his cheeks were slightly red.

"Say thanks!" I repeated, lifting the umbrella up and gesturing towards the shop owner. "Thank you." He said stiffly, before sliding out of his seat and walking towards the door. "I'm sorry, he's really rude. Thank you again!" I hurried after him, opening the umbrella once we exited the shop. I heard him whisper something in Russian, but chose to ignore it as usual. By the time we reached, my shoes were soaking wet but at least my clothes weren't. I couldn't say the same for Yuri though; he looked like he just decided to take a shower with his clothes on.

"Yuri! Why didn't you tell me that I was taking up majority of the umbrella? I would have scooted over!" I gasped, rushing to grab a towel so he could dry himself off. "Viktor told me that you were my priority... besides, I'm just a little wet." I raised an eyebrow, glancing at him. "A little wet? Right." I scoffed, pushing the towel into his hands. "Tch."

~Next Day~

"I told you to take a shower immediately!" I chided the blonde, who was currently sitting down on the couch for once. "Look, you're burning up! What am I supposed to do?" I showed him the thermometer. "Nothing. I'm still on duty." I nearly threw the thermometer down in frustration, sitting down beside him. "Listen to me," I demanded, using my hand to force his face towards me. "You're going to lie down and have a good rest while I'll grab the fever medicine from the pharmacy. I'm going to be fine." Afterwards, I pulled him up and pushed him into the room, forcing him to lie down on the extra mattress which was still on the floor.

"Now, stay here, okay?" I instructed after tucking him in. He groaned, nodding a little.

~Back from the pharmacy~

When I pushed the door open, I heard whimpers coming from my room. Curious, I opened the door and found Yuri trashing about, murmuring Russian as he tossed and turned. His eyebrows were furrowed, and beads of sweat trickled down his pale face. It was clear he was having a nightmare. I knelt down beside him, grabbing his shoulder and giving him a violent shake. "сохранить ее, пожалуйста!" He yelled, his failing arms latching onto mine.

His eyes shot open, and my lips parted slightly in surprise.

He was crying.
