Chapter 2

Me: "ouch! who threw that?"

A tall figure came up to me and asks "Are you ok?"

Me: "I'm not sure."

Apparently I was knocked out by the hit, a concussion maybe? My vision starts clearing and now I know who stands next to me asking if I'm ok.

Me: "Ronnie?" Am I hallucinating? It can't be, or can it?

Ronnie: "Have we met before?"

Me: "not really but I feel like I have known you for so long"

Ronnie: "vines, right?"

Me: *blushing as I look at the ground* hehe yeah... *sigh*

Ronnie: "listen I'm sorry the ball hit you. My buddy over there threw the ball a bit too fast and I wasn't paying attention, what can I do to make up for it?"

Me: "well I was just on my way to get a snack when suddenly I blacked out but I believe there IS something you can do!"

My friend Mels has been dreaming of meeting Ronnie and destiny has hurt me badly just to get his attention. I owe her a birthday gift since it was a week ago and I got a great Idea! I look over to where she is laying and she seems to be sleeping still.

I whisper something into Ronnie's ear. Then him and his friend walk to the nearest goodies store and get some snacks and drinks; on the other hand, I walk thowards Mels location and make sure to be as discrete as possible. I see Ronnie and his friend walking this way, I have to make sure Mels doesn't wake up.

I signal Ronnie to sit next to her and his friend sits next to me on the sand. They place all the snacks down and then we make eye contact for a min. I mouth Ronnie to wake Mels up cautiously since I don't want him to get hurt. She's a feisty one, If you wake her up suddenly she will smack yo brains out. I know because I saw it happening while me and her sister tryed to prank her.

Ronnie puts his hand on her arm and gently moves her a bit while saying "wake up beauty!" She opens her eyes then quickly sits up and looks at me whith a surprised face.

Mels: "Am I dreaming Tutty?"

Me: "um...no I don't think so."

Mels: "stop messing with me like that you know I don't like it."

Me: "nope this is legit"

Mels: "I can't, I just..."

Ronnie cuts her off and gives her a hug. She freezes in amazement and stares at the shore for a few minutes.

Me: "snap out of it Mels" I snap my finger in front of her.

Mels: " Nooooooo, I wasn't readyyyyy!"

Ronnie and his friend laugh at her reaction and the silly things she says.

Me: "so Ronnie"

Ronnie: "yeah what's up?"

Me: "who's your friend? I don't think you introduced me to him."

Ronnie: "Oh hah my bad, that's Brent"

Me: "nice to meet you Brent! I'm Tutty"

Brent: "now that's a new one, never heard a name like that before. Unique...I like that!"

Me: "that's very sweet of you to say Brent!"

It's afternoon already. We keep talking and eating the snacks. Brent picks up a cup and fills it with ocean water. He walks our way and splashes the water all over me then starts running. I sit there in surprise, that was not expected at all. I think not running after him was the best choice, he's pretty fast.
