What happened...?

Brent, Ida and I decide to go out for a walk in the park and go window shopping. Mels and Ronnie stay watching T.V.

Brent: "Well those were some crazy nights since you got here Ida"

Ida: "Its what I do. My signature act"

Me: "That's true"

We arrive at the park and decide to let the kid inside of us burst out. We jump,run and mess around till we are tired.

We are all sweaty and gross so we change our minds and go back to the house instead of going window shopping.

A few hours later

We arrive at the house and ring the bell. No one answers...

Well isn't that strange? She always answers quickly. Do I hear yelling coming from inside?

I ring the door bell multiple times until she finally answers.

Her face is covered in tears and her eyes are puffy.

Brent runs inside and finds Ronnie in the game room sitting in a corner crying.

Brent: "Are you ok Ron?"

Ronnie: "I..I don't wanna talk about it"

Brent: "Come on you just need a walk to think bout stuff"

Ronnie: "Fine"

Brent and Ronnie leave the house. Ida sits on the couch and I walk over to the living room with Mels. I grab the tissue bow from the bathroom and hand her some.

Me: "You feeling a bit better now?"

Mels: "Yeah not really"

Ida: "What happened?"

Mels: "Ronnie was talking to another girl"

Me : "WHAT!??"

Ida: "Seriously" -_-

Mels: "I just need to take a nap. My head hurts"

She walks into her room with her phone and cuddles with the big teddy bear Ronnie got her. 

The door bell rings so I stand up and answer it. Brent stands there with his head down.

Me: "you ok?"

Brent: "Ronnie wont talk to me and I don't know what to do"

Me: "Where he at?"

Brent: "At his house, can you come over?"

Me: "Yeah"

I yell across the hall and tell Ida "I'll be back soon,Call me if anything". She yells back "OK"

Brent takes me to Ronnie's house to find Ronnie laying on the sofa with watery eyes, scrolling through his texts. I sit next to him and hand him a clean cloth. He takes it and dry's his face.

Me: "Would you mind explaining what happened?"

Ronnie: "I made a mistake and I regret it so much. I was so dumb"

Me: "Listen, I talked to her earlier and she said She loves you."

Ronnie: "She did?"

Me: "yeah but she don't like cheaters and neither do I?"

Ronnie: "I don't know what happened"

Me: "Just make sure it doesn't happen again. You should text her, I know she will answer"

Ronnie: "You think I should?"

Me: "Yes, she might be mad but I know she can't stay mad at you"

Ronnie: "Ok I'll text her right now"

I walk into the hall and let Ronnie take care of business. Brent walks up to me and grabs my hand.

Brent: "Thanks"

Me: "No problem, that's what friends are for"

Brent leans over to try to kiss me and I move my face to the side so that he ends up kissing my cheek.

Brent: "You ok?"

Me: "I can't do this. Ronnie is going through something right now and so is my bestie."

Brent: "You're right"

Me: "I'll talk to you later"

I walk over to the living room and sit next to Ronnie again.

Me: "Did she answer?"

Ronnie: "Yeah, she said to go over so we can talk"

Me: "Well then lets go"

Ronnie and I leave and Brent stays at Ronnie's house. When we arrive at Mels, Ida opens the door and Ronnie walks into Mels room.

~9:18 p.m.~

Ida walks into the room she's been staying in and gathers all her stuff. She is leaving tomorrow to MA so she goes to sleep early.

Ronnie and Mels come out of her room holding hands as they giggle and smile.

Ronnie: "Thanks Tutty, you're a good friend!"

Mels: "You truly are. I don't know what I would do without you."

Me: "No problem you guys. That's what real friends are for right?!

Mels: "Where's Brent"

Me: "He stayed at Ronnie's house"

Mels: "Why?"

Me: "It doesn't matter right now. I'll take care of it soon"

Mels and Ronnie sit on the couch cuddled up. I stand up and go to my room. I grab clothes, a towel, some shampoo and conditioner, and shower gel.

As I shower, many thoughts travel through my head.

Brent is a good guy but I don't see us in a relationship. I gotta tell him how I feel. I'm not the kind of girl that leads a guy on then leaves him. I like him one day and question my feelings the next. I have to talk to him.

I get out of the shower, dry up, and get dressed. I brush my teeth, fix my hair and decide not to ware any make-up. Then I apply lotion and perfume on.

I walk over to Mels and tell her I will be back later. She nods and hands me my phone which she had next to her on the couch.

I go back to Ronnie's house where Brent had stayed. I nervously ring the bell. Brent opens the door and signals me in like a gentle man. I walk over to the kitchen table and pull out a chair to sit on. He sits across from me.

Me: "Brent I been thinking alot lately and I had to talk to you"

Brent: "What about?"

Me: "Well we aren't in a relationship or anything so I don't think its right that we act like we are sometimes."

Brent: "You're right. So what are you trying to tell me exacly?"

Me: "I just want to make it clear that I just want to be friends"

Brent: "Oh well um...that's fine with me. Does that mean we can't hang out anymore?"

Me: "No, we can definately hang out still"

Brent: "Well I appreciate that you told me how you felt"

Me: "I had to. I wasn't trying to lead you on. You get me?"

Brent: "Yeah"

We stand up and give each other a hug. He gathers some of Ronnie's clothes and his own then puts it in a bag. I walk outside while Brent turns off the lights and locks the door. We walk back to Mels house. Ronnie opens the door and we walk in. Mels is sleeping on the couch and Ida passed out a while ago. I open the sofa bed in the game room and set it up for Brent. Ronnie lays in the couch with Mels. I go to my room and we all K.O.
