The big surprise

Pito and I have been best friends since I can remember. I always had a huge crush on him but I was too afraid to tell him because I thought it would be too soon. I didn't want to seem thirsty or desperate, honestly I liked him for who he was. Yeah he got the looks but that's not what got my attention. His personality is amazing and he's the most romantic and sweetest guy I had ever met.

Talking about romance and sweetness.

I stood up and went to the bathroom to get clean and dry up. Once I was done I went straight into the guest room and fell asleep.

Ronnie and Mels stayed watching movies all night and eating everything they could find.

Darn it, now I gotta go to the grocery store. *frown face*

My phone rings and its Pito.

Pito: "Hey Tutty!"

Me: "Hey bestie"

Pito: "whats up?"

Me: "I was just about to go grocery shopping"

Pito: "Mind if I come along?"

Me: "Not at all"

Pito: "Alright then I'll pick you up"

Me: "Ok dale!"

20 minutes later

Pito arrives and honks the horn. I walk outside and get into his car. Melanie and Ronnie wave bye from the doorway.

Once we get to the grocery store Pito drops me off at the entrance and tries to find a parking spot. As I'm walking around looking for ham and cheese in the refrigerator section someone suddenly grabs me by the waist and puts a hand over my mouth. I caught a wiff of the perfume and calmed down.

I know its Pito.

Me: "What the heck where you thinking?"

Pito: "I was trying to scare you"

Me: "You are lucky you were holding me. You know I have fast reflexes."

Pito: "So you tryina say you would have punched me if I didn't hold you..."

Me: "Just help me get everything I need"

Pito: "Ok"

We walked around the whole store and grabbed everything we had on the list. After we were done paying for everything thing, Pito took the cart and loaded all the bags into the trunk of his car.

He didn't have to do all of that but thats just him. With his attractive plump lips and his voice...dang everytime I hear it I just go blank.

~5:00 p.m.~We arrive back at Mels house. I unload the trunk and Mels helps me put everything in its place. Pito picked me up at around 2:00 p.m.

We were out for 3 hours! How the heck is that even possible?

Ronnie greets Pito and they both go into the game room and start playing Call of Duty. Mels and I chill in the living room watching Kevin Hart on netflix.

Oh...

Ronnie turns all the lights off and Pito lights some candles, placing them strategically leading somewhere. Ronnie picks petals off some flowers and throws them on Mels and I. We stand up and look around but we can't see anything but the candles. 

Me: "Mels..."

Mels: "Yeah Tutty?"

Me: "I think they want us to walk over there"

Mels: "Ok lets go"

We follow the candles which lead into a room with dim lights. Pito grabs my hand and pulls me back, leaving Mels alone and confused.

Ronnie calls Mels and tells her to come in. First thing she sees is candles surrounding petals spelling...

-Will you marry me?-

Mels eyes start to water and Ronnie gets on his knee and pulls out a red box. He opens it exposing a beautiful diamond ring. Mels tries to dry her tears as she smiles. Ronnie stays still looking at her while she dries her eyes a little. The she says "YES!" and he puts the ring on her finger.

Mean while in the hall Pito is grabbing me by the waist and looking deep into my eyes.

Ronnie and I had planned the proposal a few days ago. The fact that Pito came along just made it better. They helped each other get everything done in time with out Mels noticing. The Question now is..."Why is Pito holding me so close for?"

Pito: "So I heard you helped Ronnie and Mels stay together after an intense fight"

Me: "Let me guess, You and Ronnie had a long conversation and that's how all this happened?"

Pito: "Yeah and he also told me something else"

Crap I bet he told him about the prank...He's gonna think I'm crazy.

He started leaning in with his eyes half open. He stopped half way and turned towards my ear.

I can feel his light breaths on my ear as I place my hands on his shoulders.

Pito: *whispering* "Will you go out with me?"

Me: *hugging him tighly* "It was about time, Yes!"

Pito: "I knew you liked me but I didn't realise how great of a friend you were"

Me: "where?"

Pito: "Yeah because your definitely wifey material but I'm taking things slow"

Me: "You know that's how I like it" I wink at him.

We giggle and walk into the room where Ronnie has proposed. Mels and Ronnie stand there hugging each other. They are too cute :3.

Ronnie: "Thanks again for helping me out!"

Me: "You Welcome!"

Mels: "So does this mean you're not pregnant?"

Me: "Yes Mels I was never pregnant. I was just making things seem more realistic."

Pito: "Who did you say was the baby daddy?"

Ronnie: "She said YOU were"

Pito: "Oh really!?"

Me: "Yeah kinda..."

Pito: "Well I'm glad it wasn't some random dude or something."

Me: "I thought you would think I was crazy or something"

Pito: "Nah chill, dat baby mine!" *winks*

We all laugh then head out in Ronnie's car.
