chapter 10- truth

I was hugging myself when a set of warm,muscular hands around me. I turn around and saw Jake face giving me a reassuring smile,I smile back. Jackie and Kevin were on the sofa holding hands and Josh was drinking coffee.  All of a sudden we all heard Austin yelled and all of us were confused what was going on.  Then Austin came in with cassie in his arms.

"Oh my god what happen?!" I nearly screamed.

"We were arguing and she just fainted." Austin said with panick.

"You bitch!!" What did you do, I swear to god if she's hurt weather emotionally or physically I will kill you" Josh said.

Before the two start fighting Kevin got in the way and stopped them.

"She's still breathing." I said with a relief." Let her rest."

Josh carried cassie to her room he didn't want Austin do it causing chaos.

"So what did you tell her?" I asked it slipped out my mouth.

Josh looked at me with a sad look.

"I told her I was in a gang." He said.

It took him a few seconds to realise that I wasn't surprised.

Before he said anything I blurt out  "I know."

"Wait what? You know ?" He ask confusingly.

" well you see cassie and I are in a gang and I know you and Jake  are in a gang." I said nervously.

He just stand there like if he was in the arctic freezing.

"I'm gonna take a walk, I'll be back." He said and out through the door he went.

"I'm gonna call it a night too I have and early shift tomorrow morning at gang duty." Josh said.

"Good night." Me and Jake said at the same time.

Jake walked up to me and gave me a hug when we both look back at Jackie and Kevin they were sleeping on the couch together.

"I think were should call it a night too." Jake said giving me a wink.

"Yeah I think so too." I said them tip toe and gave him a kiss.

We went to the sofa opposite the one Jackie and Kevin the were sleep in and we laid down and  Jake arm was around my stomach and the next one in my hair. All of a sudden he was sniffing my hair.

"What was that?" I asked.

"I love smelling you...by the way what scent your shampoo is?" He asked.

I smiled and said "it's vanilla."

"Well this scent will be stuck in my head forever." Jake  said giving me a kiss on my forehead.

I just hope everything gets better soon. I thought before I went sleep .

I woke up finding Jake on top of me kissing me and I immediately kiss him back.

We had a steamy 5 min make out session. Then I pulled away.

"Where are jackie and Kevin?" I asked.

"They went home and they had to get ready for their shift at the gang.

"Oh, what time it is?" I asked anxiously.

"11:10 why?" He asked curiously.

"Oh shit." I checked my phone and there was 21 missed calls from dad.

"He's gonna kill me." I said trying to get my stuff together.

"I'm gonna drive you." Jake said getting ready to leave.

I walked in to cassie bedroom give myself a quick check and shock to find Austin in her bed shirtless and cassie in her bra.

I was about to yelled at them to wake up but a hand cover my mouth and a mouth by my ear.

"Leave them, they've been through so much, let them be together. Jake wishpered.

I nodded and we walked out through the room.

While we were driving Jake asked me something  I thought he might never asked.

"So you want to go on a date with me?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

"Oh my god of course." I said happily.

"So what do you want to do?" He asked.

I just want to go to a simple movie that's all.

Jake smiled "okay how about tonight?"

Before I knew it I was home.

"Perfect." I said and I give him a kiss on his cheek and about to get out of the car and he arm pulled me back and his lips connected with mine. I pulled away said goodbye.

I run quickly up the stairs and got by the door and just about to open the door the door was open by my dad.

"Where are you coming from young lady?" My dad said in a low voice.

" I was studying with cassie in her apartment."

"So why didn't you call me?" Dad asked.

"Well my phone was dead and cassie's wasn't working properly.

My dad sighed. " I was worried about you. Well we have work to do at the gang and we need your help. So come on and let's get this work done."
