11. The Start Of A Weird Day

"Happy birthday!" April yells upon opening my apartment door.

It is indeed April 1st, therefore it is my birthday but I don't actually remember telling April that so I'm not entirely sure how she knew it was my birthday.

The singer walks into my kitchen holding a bundle of blue helium balloons that all read happy birthday. April releases the balloons and they float to the ceiling, both of us watch the balloons find their way up there. April then walks directly up to me and hugs me tightly.

"Happy nineteenth, Queen B." She tells me and I smile.

"Thank you, love, but how the hell did you know that?" I wonder and she laughs.

"I looked at your driver's license." April winks and I smile. "I thought your name would've been Isabella but it's just Bella."

"I'm just Bella." I agree with a laugh.

Tommy

I walk get out of my car and walk out of the parking lot at Bella's building, I jam my hands in my pockets and look around. I see Sebastian walking towards the building to and I stop in my tracks, isn't he supposed to be on tour? I'm sure it's Sebastian, nobody other than me is that tall with that much hair.

"Sebastian!" I call and he looks up.

The singer stops and I jug towards him, I meet up with him and he smiles brightly.

"What's going on, Tommy?" Sebastian asks.

"I was going to ask you the same thing." I admit. "Aren't you supposed to be on tour with Bon Jovi?"

"Yeah but I wanted to see Bella on her birthday." He admits and I stop dead in my tracks. "In a friend way, I know she's your girl but we're still friends." Sebastian backtracks.

"No, no, I get that. Is today Bella's birthday?" I wonder and he laughs.

"Yeah dude, April 1st." Sebastian laughs. "You alright?"

"No, she's going to kill me." I say. "I didn't know it was Bella's birthday!" I admit and his eyes grow.

I know that April told all of us Bella's birthday but for some reason I didn't think it was until next week. Bella is going to kill me because I of all people should remember her birthday, even if she didn't want to make a big deal about it. I might be the worst boyfriend on the planet right now.

Even though I'm freaking the fuck out Sebastian and I keep walking towards the building. I'm going to really have to make this up to her, I'm already on thin ice with Bella! I mean we just got back together and things were going fantastic, now I fuck up and forget her birthday.

Sebastian and I walk into the building and see a guy standing in front of the mailboxes looking at the names. This guy doesn't look like any mail man I've ever seen before and by the look on Sebastian's face he's thinking the exact same thing.

"Hey man, you look a little lost." Sebastian comments. "Is there anything we can help you with?"

"Yes actually, I'm looking for my little sister." The guy answers in a British accent and I smile.

"Looking for Bella, right?" I ask and he nods.

"How did you know that?" Bella's big brother asks.

"For starters she's the only British girl in the building and she talks about you a lot. Jason, right?" I ask and he laughs.

"Yes, yes, that's me. You're friends of my sister?" Jason asks.

"I am, that's her boyfriend." Sebastian jerks a thumb towards me. "I'm Sebastian Bach." He holds his hand out to Jason.

Jason shakes his hand but keeps looking at me in that weird big brother protective way. Once he releases Sebastian's hand, Jason holds his hand out to me politely. I shake his hand.

"I'm Tommy Lee." I introduce myself.

"Of Mötley Crüe?" Jason asks and I nod. "Wicked." He smiles. "So are you here to see Bella on her birthday?"

"Yeah but Tommy forgot." Sebastian teases and I glare at him, if Bella didn't care about him so much I'd kill him.

"You forgot your bloody girlfriend's birthday?" Jason asks.

"I'm working on fixing that." I admit.

"Ah." He comments. "So shall we go see the birthday girl?"

"Sounds good." Sebastian smiles.

"Yeah." I agree.

We walk up the stairs and up to Bella's door, Sebastian and Jason stand behind me because Bella doesn't actually know they're here. I open the door and walk inside, Bella is in the kitchen with April. She sees me and smiles.

"Hi, love." Bella beams and walks over to me, she goes up on her toes and kisses my cheek.

"Hey, happy birthday." I tell her quietly and her cheeks rose up a bit which makes me smile.

"Thank you, love." She smiles and pulls me inside.

Bella is leading me and facing away for Jason and Sebastian have time to sneak into the apartment. Sebastian smirks and follows me closely until he's right behind me, I let him step in and hug Bella.

Bella jumps before turning around and smiling, she hugs her best friend and Sebastian stand up straight pulling her up with him.

"Happy birthday, you dirty, rotten Redcoat." He laughs and Bella giggles.

"Thank you, love." She kisses his cheek.

"Well what about me?" Jason calls and step out of the way so Bella can see her big brother.

"Jason!" Bella squeaks and runs to hug her brother.

Jason laughs and catches his baby sister in a hug, he spins her around which makes me smile. I lean against the wall and watch my little girlfriend interact with her brother. They really love each other.

"Wait, wait, what are you two doing here?" Bella asks as Jason puts her back on her feet.

"It was Tommy's idea." Sebastian tells her. "To have Jason and I fly in for your birthday."

"Tommy, I love you!" Bella tells me and then her eyes grow like she realized what she just said. "I really do, I love you." She admits sheepishly and her face turns red.

"I love you too." I tell her and she hugs my torso.

I kiss the top of her head before looking at Sebastian who winks. The singer who tried to steal my girl is now helping me. This is the start of a really weird day.
