Chapter twenty three

It's two days before the wedding and I when with my friends to pick up my dress and get anything else we will need for the wedding.

Lou went with the guys on his bachelor party, I'm not worried though because I know he is loyal to me and he loves me too much to do something as bad as sleeping with a hooker. Oh you probably think I'm not having a bachelorette party but I am. I know the girls wanted some dancers but I'm trying to stay away from to. I don't care how sexy and muscular they are Lou is prefect for me he's all I'll ever need, not those fake f*ckboi strippers, yuck.

"He..... hellloooo? SUMMER!!!" Naomi yelled at me. "Uh, what?" Oops I was spaced out again. "I've been trying to get your attention for like 5 minutes, what were you thinking about?"

"Oh nothing." I lied but she saw right through, not surprising, she gave me a "really?" Face and I sighed. "Fine I was thinking about Lou and how his doing with the guys at the bachelor party." I confessed. "Oh hun you don't have to worry." She rubbed my shoulders. "Naomi, I'm not worried about what he'll do because I know how much he loves me." She gave me a gross face. "Ok lover girl, well lets get ready for our party."

Well it's the big day now and I'm kind of nervous. I was sitting in my dressing room alone, my bridesmaids were making sure everything was good then they'd come back. I heard a soft knock on the door. "Come in." My parents came in. "Hey hun, how you feeling?" My dad asked. "I'm feeling a little nervous but other than that I think I'm good." I said to answer Karkat's question. My dad, the king, sat next to me and pulled something out of his pocket. "This was my mother's necklace, she said it can help with your nerves." I look towards him.

"How so?" I asked. "Well it has this crystal inside that has a calming ability in it. It really works, once after I met your Karkat, I felt like I was going on a rampage again so I held this necklace and I felt so much better." He explained. "Wow that's awesome." I exclaimed. Gamzee nods and kissed me head. "I love you baby girl, you've grown up so well and I know Lou loves you very much."

"Thanks dad." I hugged him. "Hey don't forget me." Karkat whined. "Sorry, I love you both" I pulled them both into a hug. "I'm so happy we found you and took you in, you've been such a beautiful, independent and smart woman." I'm basically crying at Karkat's words. I'm grateful for both my dads.

They left a few minutes later, by that time my bridesmaids returned. "Gosh Summer, I'm jealous. Everything looks so prefect." One of the girls said. "Yeah and you have the most prefect husband, why can't there be more guys like Lou." Another girl said. "Sorry Stacy, I guess I lucked out." I told her. She nods as a single tear falls down her face. "I need to find someone."

"You will don't worry." I reassured her and gave her a hug. "You're the besties friend a girl could have."

"Ok let's not ruin your makeup." I said wiping her tears. "It's waterproof." She giggled. The wedding planner, Kanaya, came in and said it was time. "Where's my flower girls?" I asked as two young girls from the orphanage came towards me with smiles on their faces. "Right here!" They cheered. "It's time." I said and they nod. "We're ready!" The put on their game faces.

As everyone lined up to go down the aisle I see Lou at the altar. He looks so sexy in a tux. I said to myself not noticing the first groomsman and bridesmaid started walking. The nerves kick in. My dad had his arms held out for me to link mine with while my other dad was sitting in the front seat. "You'll be fine sweetheart just breath." Gamzee said. "Thanks dad." I breath to relax myself then I realized it was time to start walking, before I knew it I was facing Lou. Oh he looked so gorgeous up close I was so nervous.

The Signless was our officiant, he started speaking. We did our vows and we said the infamous "I do" then the best part. "You may now kiss the bride!!" Lou dipped me down and kissed me. "I love you." He whispers in my ear then pulls me up. "Love you too." I blush.

And we live happily ever after... the end.....
