Damien and (Y/n)'s science project (Part 1)

As soon as you walked into your first classroom of the day you noticed that your science teacher was frantically writing on the chalkboard in front of the classroom, she was holding a large book about the same size as a science textbook. She kept looking back at it to copy down notes and other words, she seemed excited because she was writing at such a fast pace and almost ran out of chalk when she was done writing. She turned and placed the book on her desk but noticed you just standing in the doorway staring at her with a surprised face.

"Oh, good morning miss (Y/N)," she sat in her brown spinney chair and leaned in it,"How are you today," She was basically the only adult that was nice to you, everyone else would stare at you or whisper when they got close to you. It made you feel worthless, to be honest, but when you were around your favorite teacher she seemed to accept you more than everyone else did, even than the rest of the students.
"I'm good Mrs. (teacher) and good morning." You sat down in your assigned seat right next to Damien and waited for him to enter the classroom. Once he did he seemed pretty tired, but he still stood tall and had his arm holding onto his school books for his science class,"DAMMMMIIEEEEN," you yelled from across the room, your arm was fully extended upward and slowly waving back and forth in happiness.
He sat down next to you and laid his head down on his desk,"What happened to you," You poked his shoulder a couple of times to see if he was still alive,"My dad kept me up all night studying for the finals next week," he groaned from tiredness. Oka walked in and waved lightly, you waved back at her but still seemed to be concentrated on Damien.
About five minutes later the late bell rang and Alex Crane (Oldest son of scarecrow) entered the room, he leaned down o his knees and got support from the side of the door where he placed his cold hand,"You're late Mr.Crane," The teacher informed,"And take that hood off of your head," She demanded,"Yeah yeah," he said taking off his hood and sitting in a cool position making Oka blush, the teacher just looked at him and sighed,"Alright everyone today we will be doing a science project/lab today...and yes, you may work in partners," You looked around the room and realized everyone already had a partner, even when you looked at Oka her face seemed to blush even more when Alex asked her to be his partner. But when you looked over you saw that Damien had been looking at you for a while now, he had small blush marks on his face when he realized he couldn't turn his head away from you. You blushed at how you looked at your bright green joker eyes.
"Y-You wanna be partners Damien," You asked blushing and turning your face to look forward and down but you still aimed your eyes at his eyes,"Uh a-alright," he sat straight up and looked away as well and looked straight.
"Yes yes students I know, now I hope you picked your partners because you'll really need them for this project. First, you'll be making a model of a and tell me what are the four nucleobases and what their function is in the strand of DNA. You have until next Monday kids okay, for the entire day of class you may brainstorm ideas for your project. Good luck students,"

Yep, that'll be easy for you, you didn't study them by the way, Oka forcefully taught you since you never do your homework and you never listen in class. You felt like a nerd even though you knew only four new words that you've never heard before, but at least you can be partners with Damien. He's the smartest kid in the class, but that's not the only reason that you wanted to be partners but you couldn't explain it and soon dropped it.
"hey (Y/n) do you want to come over to my house to work on our project I don't live in an apartment like you, I have a study with plenty of science books," Damien informed kind of showing off,"Oh SURE sounds fun Damien, but why do you have a science books in your house." Damien blushed for no reason,"J-Just in case...a-anyway let's get started on our project," He sighed picking up his pencil," K!," you raised your arm in the air with fast force extending it all the way in the air.
