The Children Of Gotham (Damian Wayne x Reader)

Update

Before I worry anyone since it's been a long time since an update, yes I will be continuing this story. I wrote this story around middle school, so things may change either slightly or drastically.

I've gotten comments requesting me to keep going, and I'll do my best. First, I'll try and go through all my chapters, fix any mistakes, and refresh myself. Then I'll try and and work on a new chapter. But I think I should establish this AU a little more since I don't think I really cleared anything up.

What is this AU?
Essentially, you were born the same year Damien Wayne was born. Joker canonically doesn't exactly fit well with Harley, which is why she's with Ivy now. But in this AU, Quinn died before she could realize the toxicity in her relationship with Joker. The Joker is around 35 years old in this AU and before he gets the disease that kills him, he conceives a child because he begins to realize that his age may hinder him from his plans for the future. He grows more addicted to his grasp on Gotham, that even in death, he'll refuse to let go of it. Once he was actually sick, he knew a child may not be enough. Basically the rest of the AU follows the Arkham games, including when he transfused some of his blood into Batman. (who I'll say is around 29)
The entirety of the Arkham Knight game timeline plays out with no changes, other than the ending. Batman is able to live on successfully without his identity being discovered by Scarecrow. He's able to control the Joker's intentions and appearances in his mind. Once the issue with that is over, Harley is confronted, tried, and found guilty of countless of crimes. She was put on Death row out of her own actions in prison, but obviously they wouldn't execute her while she was pregnant. No one could halt her execution except you when she was having you. And once you were born, she was finally executed.

Current AU times:
My initial idea was to have you either sense or feel that Batman was closer to you other than your father was his arch nemesis. And because you're able to feel something different about Batman, the Joker inside of Bruce kicks back into motion because he sees another chance to keep his legend alive. His daughter is alive, so he could pull a rerun on trying to take over the bat again.
You grow a relationship with Bruce's son which neither Bruce nor the Joker like much. I'll leave the You and Damien's interactions out of this as much as I can.
