(Lian's POV)

"What are you doing here?" I hear Brenda ask someone, unamused.

"I'm here to visit."

"I'm busy."

"I'm here to visit Lian and Rythian, Brenda." I hear Dil say as he walks up the stairs.

"Rythian's out running some errands for me, Lian should be in her room..."

"Cool," Dil says and approaches the door, "knock knock!"

"Come in." I mumble from under the covers of Rythian's bed. No, I'm not hiding. Shudap.

I see Dil glance at me oddly before taking a seat at the edge of the bed and lying back on top of my legs.

"You're heavy."

"And you're sad." He responds. "Any reason why?"

I shrug, "I'm having trouble with a person..."

"What kind of trouble?"

"Break up with your boyfriend or I'll hurt him trouble."

"Ouch," Dil says, "we've all been there."

"..."

"Okay, maybe not all of us."

I sigh, rolling over and sticking my head out so I can see my new, heavy friend.

"Can you give me some advice on what to do?" I ask. "Your dad used to do that, didn't he?"

"Ah, the Internet Support group. Classic." Dil grins, reminiscing. "Okay, explain the situation. Set the scene for me."

"So, theoretically this girl who I thought hated me and wanted to date my boyfriend turns out wants me to break up with him because she finds me interesting and is threatening to hurt him if I don't. Theoretically, what should I do?"

"Well, theoretically this person seems to have problems expressing theirselves and maybe the next time you seem them you should ask to talk it out. No one ever gets hurt when talking. Well, physically at least."

I cringe "last time we theoretically had a talk she theoretically hurt me."

Dil's happy go lucky facade drops within a heartbeat. "Then you gotta smack a bitch."

I have to blink a few times to take that in because hello sudden attitude change.

"This girl hurt you? How? We all take an oath!" Dil says confused and then realisation hits. "She's with the authorities, isn't she?"

"Theoretically."

"Yeah, yeah whatever." Dil dismisses. "Look, if there's no way of talking her out of whatever she's planning then...you're gonna have to fight her."
