"sounds good to me!" askia smiled from under the duvet, scrolling through emails on her phone.
"alright well i'll see you later," he kissed her on the head, before heading to work.
"love you!" she called out.

while she sat in the restaurant waiting for chris to arrive, askia decided tonight would be the night she'd tell chris about australia.
she'd been practising what to say all day, and finally figured out how to word it.
"hi baby," chris greeted, as he walked over to the table. "sorry i'm late!"
she smiled as he kissed her head.
"hey,"
he sat down and smiled at her.
"how was your day?" she asked.
"it was alright, we just did some reshoots," he shrugged, picking up the menu and browsing it.
"you?"
she shrugged.
"good, i just replied to emails and made calls, very boring!" she laughed. __________
"hey i have something to tell you," askia smiled nervously, playing with her food.
"yeah?" chris asked looking up at her.
"i,"
"hi! how is the food? all ok?" the waiter appeared out of nowhere, grinning at the pair.
"brilliant," chris grinned.
the waiter nodded, and walked away.
"you were saying?" chris asked, taking a bite of his food.
"oh uh," askia stuttered.
"just that i love you!" she smiled, running her hand through her hair.
"that's it?" he chuckled.
she thought for a moment.
"yeah, that's it,"
"oh, well i love you too," he smiled, squeezing her hand, before returning to his food.
