'i'm pregnant,'
there was a long pause.
'chris?'
'are you serious?'
askia laughed.
'no i'm lying!'
'of course i'm being serious!'
'oh my god,'
'but are you sure?'
'i took five tests chris,'
'i'm positive,'
'literally,'
chris jumped up from the sofa and ran his hand through his hair, grinning.
'why did i listen to liz,'
'i should've flown there,'
'oh my god i'm going to
be a dad'
askia started to cry again.
'hey now don't cry!'
'you'll make me cry!'
'they're good tears,
i promise!'
'i'm booking the
next flight out there,'
'i have to see you,'
'oh my god,'
'please calm down
before you pass out,'
askia laughed, laying back on her bed.
'i'm fine i swear!'
'have you told anyone else?'
'just you,'
'you're the only one
who needs to know,'
'i'm so happy,'
'me too,'
'but i need to sleep,'
'i love you so much,'
'of course!'
'please get some rest,'
'i love you more,'
'see you as soon as i can,'

it was 4 in the morning, when chris arrived at askia's hotel room.
he stood there knocking for a while, before she pulled the door open.
before she had the chance to see who it was, he pulled her into his arms and squeezed.
they were stood there for at least five minutes, when askia spoke up.
"as much as i'm loving this, we're stood in the middle of the hallway, when i'd much rather be asleep, come in,"
he pulled away, grabbed his suitcase, and followed her into the room.
she closed the door behind him, and crawled back into bed.
he pulled his suitcase open, and quickly changed into his pjs, before crawling into bed beside her.
"i've missed you so much i'm so sorry for being an idiot,"
"i was the idiot, you don't need to apologise," she smiled at him.
he rolled his eyes, and placed his hand on her stomach before smiling.
"none of that matters anymore, we have bigger things to worry about,"
she sighed happily.
"what do you think it is?" she asked, placing her hand on top of his.
"a girl, obviously!" he grinned.
"a girl?" she asked. "i think it's a boy,"
"i guess we'll have to wait and see," he chuckled, placing a kiss on her forehead.
