Chapter 2: Science

~*~Emma's P.O.V~*~

As much as I would love to tell Jerome how I felt about him, I just couldn't. What really pisses me off is that I've known Jerome WAY longer than Julie has. Him and I had been friends since 6th grade, and Julie met him this year. You know what, I'll just forget about.

I got my binder and opened it. I started doing my warm-up so I wouldn't get in trouble.

As I started my warm-up I felt someone pocking me on my side. I turned to my side to see it was Jerome.
"what do you want?" I looked at him. "Do you have a pencil? I lost mine..." Jerome said looking down at the floor. I giggled.
"Jerome your always loosing things, and school just started minutes ago and you already lost your pencil?" I said handing him a pencil.
"It's not my fault that my pencil doesn't like school! or me!" Jerome said in a sarcastic way. I just started laughing. This is one of the reasons I fell for him, his humor.
"All right let's go people! Today we have a lot to do!" Miss. Ellie said clapping her hands. I turned around to see if Jerome was actually doing the work. But of course he wasn't, like always. I then turned back around to look at the teacher. "All right listen up we have a HUGE experiment that's gonna take us two days to cover. Now I want all of you to work with a partner, pick carefully." Miss Ellie said then walked back to her chair and sat down. I looked around to see who I could partner up with. Although I didn't see no one. I guess I could ask or should I say beg, I don't mean to brag but I'm pretty good when it comes to begging.

I stud up from my seat, all of a sudden someone pock me on both of my sides. I jumped and yelled. I look around and realized everyone including the teacher were steering at me. I turned around to ignore all of them an pretend that nothing happened. As soon as I turn around I see Jerome. "Jerome!" I yelled and then smacked him. "hey take it easy," Jerome saying in between laughter.
"Hahaha laugh all you want," I say in a playful way.
"I will, Hahahaha." Jerome said sarcastically. I giggled.
"Hey Emma wanna work with me?" Jerome asked. Knowing Jerome I knew he would probably just slack off and make me do all the work like always.
"Hmm...sure, but only if you promise to help," I said looking at him. "Agh...fine," Jerome wimped. We then got started.

I grabbed the chemicals and read the instructions for the experiment.
I grabbed the water but then Jerome scared me. I dropped the water, casing it to splash all over the floor. I punched Jerome, but he was just laughing. "agh! you dick!" I said punching him once more. "sorry Emma," Jerome said in between a laugh. He started walking backwards, I looked that he was heading were the water was, but I didn't say anything. Then he slipped and fell. I just started laughing. "Hahaha, laugh all you want," Jerome said getting up from the floor. I was still laughing by the time he got up. It was funny to mess with him. "Ok enough laughing Emma, we gotta do this," Jerome said standing next to me. "Ok fine," I responded rolling my eyes. Well it fun will it lasted right?

I grabbed the chemicals once more and started mixing them together. Jerome was beside me, he was just watching. "umm...Jerome," I said looking at him. "yeah?" Jerome answered. "your suppose to take notes," I looked at him. "oh! right," he said grabbing the pencil and getting the work sheet. I giggled.

I did most of the experiment while Jerome took notes, well...hopefully. As we were almost done with part one of the experiment I looked at the clock that was on the wall, we only had five more minutes of class left. I Finished up as fast as I could and cleaned up everything. I then grabbed the work sheet from Jerome and put it in my binder, I can't trust Jerome. Knowing him, he will Lose it.

When everything was put away the bell rang, I walked out the class room and went to my locker.

I grabbed my books then closed the locker. I rushed to my next class.
