My first thought is to shield Y/N, so I do. He just laughed, Y/N grabbed my arm so tight I thought the circulation was cut off.

Gale then pulls out a gun and it all happened so fast. Next thing I was trying to get the gun away from Gale. He then grabbed Y/N and that was the last thing I remember.

Gale grabs me and I see Peeta's eyes close. I quickly kick my brother where the sun does not shine. Then I pull out my phone and call the cops.

I keep shaking Peeta until I feel a hand over my mouth. But I think fast and bite the hand. I hear that it is Gale because he cries out in pain. I taste blood in my mouth so I spit it out. Just then cops pull up.

They take Gale away, ask me questions and put Peeta in the ambulance. They let me go with them but warn that I can't go with him for surgery. That breaks my heart, that he has to have surgery, again.

My brother had smashed his head into the concrete... God how could I let this happen.

I've been waiting here for like 6 hours now I just want to see my Peeta and know that he is ok. But just then a nurse comes out.

"We managed to get the bullet out, but he lost a lot of blood. You may go see him now though. He asks for you. " She explained smiling.

I jump up in joy, he is going to be ok!
I run to his room and fly open the door. I run into his arms, he is started but hugs me back. I pull away and just see that he has a bandage around his head. I smile he smiles back,

"How long will you be in the hospital?" I asked him hoping he'll know.

"Just till tomorrow, but I will be on bed rest at home." He mumbled sighing.

"It's ok..." I say hugging him...

"No it's not I couldn't protect you, you probably don't want to marry me anymore do you?" he asks thinking that I would say yes...

"Peeta I love you to the moon and back don't ever say that we will get through this together. As long as you have hope." I say truthfully all we need is hope.

"I love you too, more than anything in the world!" he says and we kiss. I smile and soon it turns french. He puts his arms around my waist and mine go around his neck.

We keep making out then we hear the door open and someone gasp. We pull away and look up and see, a nurse.

"Well I'm so sorry for interrupting, but there is someone that wants to see you he didn't leave a name but I will send him in for you." She says and leaves I blush and so does Peeta.

"Well, that was embarrassing!" I exclaimed interlocking our fingers.

"Yeah!" He agreed to look down.

"Well, I'm going to go to the food court and get us something to eat, don't worry I will get your favorite. Tell whoever is visiting that I will be back soon!" I explained kissing Peeta's head and leave.
