Chapter 4 ~ Clearing My Head

Lynn's POV

I texted Connor that night, I asked him how he knew and he let me know that he'd read through the whole conversation on my phone. Inside me I had a horrible feeling burning in my stomach, just thinking about what happened make me feel like a terrible person.

New text from Maths Boy

I quickly pick up my phone and open our conversation.

"Babe? Are we Still on for tonight?"

I forgot to answer his text from lunch, I was tempted to cancel our plans but I decided I should probably get out the house to clear my head.
"Yeah hah, see you soon" I reply, smiling to myself.
I was very excited to see Andy and the time we spent apart started to become painful.

I left the house at quarter to five dressed in casual clothes, I recently bought new shoes and I wore them especially for Andy. It took me only a few minutes to get to the school so I walked slowly, but as I got closer I saw a boy leaning on the school sign.

Blonde hair swept across his face, and a SnapBack effortlessly resting on his head. I approached him quietly as he was on his phone, until I'm close enough he can see me. He turns his phone off and locks eyes with me before pulling me into a hug, I giggle slightly from the impact.

"I missed you" he says quietly in my ear.
I missed him too. I missed every second he was not in my presence.
We made small conversation as we walking around town, I showed him some places that were well known, we walking through the high street and into the park. We walked very close together, our hands were almost touching. as we walked through the park we became close to the river, the bridge was just up ahead surrounded by dark trees that border the flowing water. I tell Andy about how I had my first kiss on that bridge, I told him it was horrible because the guy later cheated on me, so the bridge gave me bad memories.

He turns to look at me seeing I was almost in tears just with the thought of my ex, Andy noticed that I was upset and he holds me in a tight embrace and tells me everything will be okay.

"how about we do something" Andy speaks up after moments of silence, I look at him confused.

"how about we do something here, so whenever you're here you think of this good time not that bad time, we make it a positive memory" he smiles between words, I smile back as I think the idea sounds good.

"But what could we do?" I look up at him inquisitively. he looks back down to me locking eye contact.

"this" he becomes closer and narrows the distance between us until there is no space between my lips and his, the kiss was slow but it showed me he felt the same. Andy made me feel a way no one else could. i was lost in emotions and thoughts about what was going on, until I was very suddenly awoken from my thoughts by the sound of a loud male voice.

"What the Fuck Lynn" the voice said

the voice shook me to my core, I recognised the accent. I recognised the voice all together, it was the boy I least wanted to see tonight. It was Connor.
