Part Eleven: The Meal

"You did what?!" Jin asked Namjoon.

"It wasn't me, hyung!" Namjoon insisted. "Hoseok invited them!"

"That's five more mouths to feed," Kyungsoo said beside them uneasily.

"Aw, we can do that. Come on!" Jaebum assured Jin and Kyungsoo.

"Well, we don't really have a choice, do we?"

The three cooks continued with their cooking. Namjoon breathed a sigh of relief and slipped out of the kitchen.

"So you're Minho," Taehyung asked the brunette. "Like the actor?!"

"No. Like myself." He pouted slightly.

"Ah. Sorry," Taehyung said.

"No, it's fine. I get that a lot," Minho admitted.

"I'm Kim Jonghyun," his friend said.

"I'm Kim Taehyung," Taehyung exclaimed.

They high fived. Yoongi who stood with them, rolled his eyes.

"I swear, more than half of the people here are Kims," he told the two.

"You're right!" Taehyung said excitedly.

"Let's find them and high five them too!" Jonghyun suggested.

The two Kims disappeared into the crowd.

"Taemin has been my friend since...when did we meet again?" Jongin asked his friend.

Taemin frowned slightly.

"Five...seven?....I don't know actually," he replied.

"We've been friends for a really long time," Jongin told Jackson's oldest friend, Mark.

"That's nice," he replied. "I can't remember when I met Jackson either."

"Jackson?"

"Yeah." Mark nodded, then frowned. "Wait a minute. Where the heck is he?"

The two watched as Mark disappeared into the crowd in search of his friend. Then went back to chatting.

"Isn't it a bit weird that we can't remember?"

"Eh."

"I know it sounds crazy, but it's literally apart of my daily morning routine," BamBam insisted.

Jongdae watched the younger boy unsurely.

"Interesting. I don't really think I've ever even tried that actually," he replied.

"Are you kidding!" BamBam exclaimed. "It's so lit."

"Lit?" Jongdae repeated.

"What's your name?!" Taehyung and Jonghyun were suddenly screeching at Jondae.

The poor boy, already quite confused, covered his ear and replied carefully.

"K-Kim Jondae...?"

"Yes!" They cried. "High five!"

Jongdae gave the two a hand and they grinned and dashed away. BamBam turned to him again after they'd disappeared.

"It goes kinda like this," he said, taking his head and bringing it towards his inner elbow.
