Part Seven: The Plan

"That would have been nice to know...I don't know, last night!" Yoongi exclaimed.

"Why didn't you tell us?!" Jin asked in horror.

Jimin shrugged sheepishly.

"You never asked," he squeaked.

Namjoon shook his head. The other boys, still a bit lost, watched silently, while Taehyung ate hungrily.

"You gonna have that?" He asked Namjoon beside him.

"What do you think?" Namjoon hissed, pulling his plate away protectively.

Taehyung shrugged and kept eating.

"What are we supposed to do then?" Jin whined.

"Aren't we all still assuming that he's lying about being an elf?" Jungkook piped up.

His hyungs turned to him with thoughtful faces.

"Well, I mean, just in case," Namjoon said. "We should have some sort of plan."

"Agreed," Jimin said firmly.

"You should probably stay out of this," Yoongi warned him.

Jimin pouted and looked away.

"Okay, back-up plan, then...what should we do?" Jin asked.

"Uh..." Namjoon trailed off.

Everyone else was silent. Every few seconds, one of them would let out a gasp, drawing everyone's attention, before frowning and shaking his head. They went on like this for a little while, until Taehyung spoke up.

"We should just call Santa to come get him," he said with a mouth full of food. "You are that kind of elf, correct?"

"Yes." Jimin nodded.

"There you go, then."

The other boys were shaking their heads.

"And how do you propose we call Santa?" Jin rolled his eyes.

"We write him a letter?" Taehyung tilted his head thoughtfully. "Haven't you guys ever written a last minute letter?"

Jungkook looked at his closest hyung thoughtfully.

"Actually, yeah. And it worked, too," He said.

"This is nonsense," Yoongi groaned.

"I wanna write a last minute letter! Last minute presents!" Hoseok exclaimed in excitement.

"Okay, hold on, everyone!" Namjoon called. "Let's ask the expert on gift giving."

Jin straightened up. He must have already seen the gifts I bought for the boys. He thought proudly.

"Jimin," Namjoon said. "Does Santa really give last minute presents?"

Jin scowled as Jimin glowed in growing excitement.

"Yes! It has happened! But only under really extreme circumstances, like, a really innocent and good child who is less fortunate. You know that kind of thing," Jimin explained.
