Chapter Two

Wil's POV
Lunch time! My favorite. As soon as the bell rang, the whole squad went to our usual table and as promised, we invited the Mata twins. These two guys look really cool to hang out with. Not to mention that they are good looking, addition to the most talked about group in the whole campus.

"So, did you guys meet any new chicks?" Sabay akbay ko sa dalawa.

"Well, Tanner here, saw this one chick earlier. He thinks she's pretty. I think her name's Yassi Pressman?" Tyler said.

"Ohhh. So you're into good girls eh?" I asked.

"Oh shut it. Well you see, Tyler here, has an eye for Cora." Tanner said. "And by the way, I only said she's nice Tyler!"

"Woah woah woah! Cora as in Coraleen Waddell? Have you guys met her? Luis mukhang may karibal kana. Hahah" I said.

All of the boys laughed except Luis. Well, and the Mata twins. They looked so confused at first but then naintindihan nila afterwards.

"Be careful. Don't think that Cora is just a typical girl who'll fall in love within a second." Luis warned.

"You guys make it sound like she's a monster or something, Cora is a nice person, it's just that she's misinterpreted by people." Jerome defended. "I mean you can ask Wil, childhood friends sila."

"Well, I agree." I said.

Cora's parents and my parents have known each other for a very long time. I think classmates yung mga dads namin before and mag bestfriends yung mga moms when they started dating our dads. Me and Cora grew up together na. When we were kids, I used to have a crush on her pero ngayon wala na, friends lang talaga kami. We used to hangout all the time and our parents nga wanted us to have a fixed marriage but of course me and Cora disagreed. When both of our parents decided na dito sa Philippines kami mag aral , we had no choice. Si Cora lang yung kakampi ko dati nung bata pa kami. We protected each other. I mean I know I still have Cora's back pero ngayon kasi iniiwasan niya lahat ng tao. After nung break up nila ng Brazilian boyfriend niya, she changed. She came up to me broken-hearted and never told anyone but me. Hanggang ngayon wala paring nakakaalam but me. Every time na may nag tatanong sa akin, all I do is act like I don't know. Ang hindi alam ni Cora is I threatened his ex. I told him na layuan na niya si Cora so ayun bumalik na sa Brazil. I thought that was helping Cora but it turned out na naging mas tumigas yung puso niya. The way she acts right now has something to do with her past. That guy broke her heart so bad. I can only imagine Cora beating the crap outta him. Nung sila pa, Cora barely hung out with me because of him and that was the time Cora and started going to clubs. Then one time ininvite niya rin ako which naging hobby na naming mga boys ang pagpunta sa mga club club. Oh speaking of club.

"Hey by the way we have a party to go to." I showed him the card.

"For sure Tanner will like it." Jerome said.

Smile and Grin 8:00 PM -Y Pressman

"You guys should go. It's a 'must go' party." PJ said.

"Why hang out with her? I thought you guys said she's a good girl?" Tyler asked.

"Well you see, there are different kinds of popular people in here. There are ones who just doesn't give a fuck, bad ones, and the good ones, which Yassi is part of it." I said.

"I'm pretty sure you guys are the bad ones." Tanner said.

"Nah. We're the good ones." PJ said.

"Oh yeah. Beating the crap out of Aura's boyfriend is a good one." Tyler said.

We all laughed.

(At the party)

Lahat ng tao napatingin samin when we entered the bar, mostly girls. They all started giggling. Yassi came up to us as soon as we entered the club. She gave us a welcoming smile.

"Welcome! You guys want anything to drink?" She greeted cheerfully. "Oh and welcome Tanner and Tyler! Feel free to do anything."

"How'd you know them?" Jerome asked.

"They're in one of my class and seatmate ko si Tanner." Yassi said.

We all looked at Tanner and gave him a malicious smile, especially Tyler. He wiggled his eyebrows and mouthed "you gotta bang that girl". Tanner's eyes, on the other hand, widened.

"Uhm yeah I probably need a drink." Tanner walked away.

"Is he okay?" Yassi asked.

"Yeah, he's just THIRSTY." Tyler emphasized making Yassi think of something else. It made her uncomfortable.

"Oh. By the way, I have to entertain other people too. Enjoy!" She walked away and talked to other people.

We all started laughing. Si Tyler talaga yung grabe yung tawa. Lahat kami nakatingin sa kanya kasi parang di pa siya nakatawa ng ilang taon. But all of a sudden his mood changed. Nakatingin siya sa likod ko since ako ang nasa opposite side niya. We all looked at the direction where he was staring at. Boom! Ayun! Lahat ng tao napatingin sa kanila at gumilid para padaanin sila. Grabe si Tyler! I thought forever na lang siyang nakatunganga. He was mesmerized by her. I sighed. Looks like Mr. Mata here has an eye for the most wanted girl rin.

I gave Tyler a pat on the back. "Meet Coraleen Waddell."
