Chapter Eight

Wil's POV
Since nandito na si Daniel, I'm pretty sure Cora's up to anything as long as he's with Daniel. I'm actually quite offended na whenever it comes to Daniel she'd totally go for it while whenever I try inviting her to my parties it's either she'll say yes and be in the corner by herself or she'll say no. The three of us had been friends since what? 4? Everything changed when Daniel left. Cora and I slowly drifted away. I mean I don't blame her. High school is different. I started hanging out with Luis and the others while right now she's with Ali and some people who are trying to be like her. Now I don't know pero I feel like Ali's just one of Cora's minions. Yes, she's the school's representative or beauty queen or whatever you call that but based on what I have observed, she is. Sinisiksik niya ang sarili niya kay Cora. I don't even know how they became friends. Cora does not like those types of people. Maybe I don't really know who Cora is anymore. I was actually surprised when she forgave Tyler. We kind of talked before the pictorial. It was a relief that I still talked to the same Cora. Then madami kaming pinag usapan then I told her about Tyler. At first, medyo nagbago yung mood niya when I mentioned Tyler. So I explained Tyler's intentions, buti naintindihan niya. Maybe napaisip siya nung sinabi ko yun. Now I'm thinking of ways na para mapalapit sila. Kasi I feel like Cora and Daniel are only friends. The whole world might think that they're into each other but they're really not. I wonder what's stopping them though. So now, since gusto ni Tyler si Cora and I want Cora to be happy again, I decided maybe she could start forgetting about her ex and move on na and I think Tyler will be a nice boyfriend to her. I want the old Cora back. Now, the only thing I could think of is through welcome party to Daniel. That would be a great right? Then I'll do the rest later.

I invited a lot of people since Daniel will be going to school with us. I figured everyone needs to know him too. Now I'm dressing up and getting ready for the party.

I texted Tyler. Kahit na his fashion taste is good I want him to impress Cora. I'll introduce them properly since they started off bad. I'm pretty sure kakausapin na niya si Tyler since napatawad niya narin naman. Nauna na akong pumunta sa club since kelangan kong icheck kung organize na ba talaga yung lahat. This party's bout to be lit. Hope there won't be any complications this time. The twins came in with Luis and Jerome.

"What was the text for?" Tyler asked.

"Consider this the best day of your life." I said.

People started coming in and were thankful for being invited. Cora came and has been next to Daniel the whole time. They're 'the party.' They never left each other's side. I introduced Tyler to Cora which ended pretty well naman, except the fact na parang nagpakita lang siya kay Daniel. That's probably me being delusional since I'm not used to Cora being 'nice' since I've witnessed her 'malditaness.' Jerome went out saying he invited some friends. I smirked when I saw the people he invited. Baninay and Aura. Baninay looks like she's thrilled to be in the party while the other one is frowning. Mukhang napipilitan lang siya.

"Wil, you remember them right?" I smirked when Jerome geatured.

"Yes naman sino ba naman makakalimot kay Kuya Wil." Baninay said.

"Aura, remember Wil right?" Jerome asked.

She raised her right eyebrow and inirapan ako. Then she faked a smile. "Of course, I REMEMBER Wil, diba nga binugbog niya yung ex ko?!"

"Ex? Woah Jerome your girlfriend needs to calm down." I teased.

It made her mad even more.

Jerome gave me a 'are you serious' look. "We're not dating Wil, she's a friend." He defended.

"Let's go Ate Aura!" Baninay invited.

Then they disappeared joining the crowd. I looked around to check if everything was okay then I saw Tyler staring at Cora and Daniel. I came up to him.

"You okay?" I asked.

He nodded. "Look at them. They look like they're into each other. How the fuck can I talk to her since all she does is hang around with Daniel!" He said.

"Woah, calm down! They whole world might think they're into each other but they're really not. It's funny how ya'll assume too much. They're just friends. If you're gonna ask me what's stopping them them I don't know. Trust me they're just best friends." I said.

Naglambot tignan yung mukha ni Tyler. "Come on let's just go party."

I gave him a pat on the back. "That a boy! That's the spirit!" Then he left.

I went towards Cora and Daniel. Cora saw me since she was facing my direction and waved at me. She's actually smiling. That genuine smile.

"Willll!" Cora greeted as I sat to the other extra stool. "What's up guys?" I asked.

"So me and Daniel were talking about our childhood. We were talking about how we did vlogs and everything and now we're laughing about all the stupid stuff we did." Cora said.

"Remember when Wil was vlogging and accidentally farted so he had to pretend that he had no idea where the noise came from." Daniel said trying not to crack up. "Good Ol Days!" I said. We talked about our childhood, one story leading to another one.

"Imma be right back, just a second I'll use the restroom." Cora excused herself and went to the bathroom.

"So, you having fun sitting here? C'mon man! Let's go party man, there's a lot of chicks asking for your nunber." I said. Wanting to distract him so that Tyler could have time with Cora too.

"Nah man I'm already eyeing someone." He scratched the back of his neck.

I was surprised when he said this. "Who is it then?" I asked while looking at Cora who was walking her way back towards our direction.

"You're looking at her right now." He said. I stared at him blankly.

No way. No fucking way. This cannot be happening. What about my plans for Tyler and Cora? Shit shit shit. Sinabi ko pa naman kay Tyler na friendship is all they have. Daniel is my friend too but I've never thought of him liking Cora cuz I really thought they were just friends.
