Tanner's POV
"Tanner?" I choked as I hear a familiar voice said my name.

I turned around.

"Fiancée?" She asked confusingly.

As I see her, memories flash back. My first heart break. She was the first person I laid my eyes on. We were childhood friends but then I started liking her more than a friend as we grew up. I confessed my love for her but then she turned it down and started setting me up with her girl friends. She changed and dated some preppy guys in our school. She became the queen bee of the school. Even though she was like that, I loved her. What she wants, she gets. She even defeated girls in higher grade. Being the douchebag I am, I dated some girls but I knew I still loved her more than any of the girls I dated. I wanted to start a new life good thing we decided to move here in the Philippines. It was best not to bid goodbye to her. After all, I wanted to start over without worrying about anything. All we had to do was cut our connection with her. I met new people here in the Philippines and slowly moved on. Being with my brother made me realize that all I really need is brother now, girls later.

Now I'm wondering why she's here. I must say she's hotter.

"Tyler?" Cora asked. "What are you doing h---" Tyler grabbed all of Cora's shopping bags.

"I'll explain." Tyler was trying to prevent these two girls from meeting each other. Him and Cora left.

"So, fiancée huh?" She said. "Why all of a sudden you and your brother left without even telling me? And now you're about to get married without even telling me? What the hell Tanner!" Her right eyebrow was raised.

I decided to pull her outside the bar since she was starting to make a scene.

Her arms were crossed, eyebrows  raised. "Speak." She demanded.

"Look, that fiancée you were talking about wasn't real! We went to a resto and wanted free desserts so we acted like we were engaged for the rest of the day. That's not really a big deal." I said. "And why are you even here?" I asked.

"Don't you miss me? I've been looking for you. Even your parents didn't want to spill any info about your whereabouts. But it doesn't matter I'm here now. We have a lot to talk about. You need to tell me what's going on between you and girl on the bar aka your 'so called fiancée'. Any developed feeling for her?" She asked.

"Maria, seriously what the fuck are you doing here? I know you want something, I've known you for a long time so don't act like I can't tell when something is happening." I said.

"Dude, pipe down! Can't I take a vacation or something? It's just a coincidence so calm down." She said.

"Here in the Philippines? At exactly where me and Tyler are? Well, what a fucking coincidence!" I said sarcastically.

"Just shut up. Stop acting like you don't miss me!" She grabbed her phone and dialed someone. "Yes, uhm I want a reservation for two people..." "We'll be there in a few minutes..." "Maria Fabiana. Thanks!"

Maria Fabiana. A name that broke everybody's heart, including mine.

Maria's POV

I wonder why the twins are acting weird around that one chic Tanner called his fiancée  earlier. I must say she's pretty. It felt like they didn't want us together in one room.

As soon as I came in here, I looked for Tyler and Tanner. I was filled with enthusiasm when I saw Tyler expecting that I would see Tanner next. Sadly, he wasn't there earlier. I wanted to surprise both of them, it looked like it worked. I was welcomed by Tyler's surprised face. Obviously, no one was expecting me. Oh how I missed both of them! Tanner was nowhere to be found around the school campus. I thought Tyler was pretending that he didn't know where Tanner was so I kept on bugging him. He was on his phone the whole time, it looked like he was typing something out. He was staring furiously at his phone when he said that he saw Tanner. I was about to look when he locked his screen and walked away. At first he told me not to follow him so I acted like I was leaving but I followed him. He had no idea that the car behind him was me. He stopped at a bar where I could see Tanner from the outside. Tyler's eyes widened as I walked past him and entered the bar. I was behind Tanner when the waiter said 'fiancée.'  He choked as I call his name. His reaction was priceless. Then Tyler dragged that one chic saying he would explain everything to her. Tanner has been suspicious about me being in here. I made a stupid excuse saying I went for a vacation but he did not buy it.

So now he's staring at me as if trying to read me. Gosh, that face could melt a person. He's the reason why I came here. I used to look at him as a friend but when he confessed, everything changed. I had no idea what I was doing, I dated jocks in school and became the queen bee of the entire school. I knew I was hurting him. I thought that it'll turn it off since he started acting like a fuckboy and dated girls but he told me he still wanted me. I didn't want to ruin our friendship just for a relationship, and besides we're not even sure if it's gonna work. When he left I thought it was best but then I was wrong, I realized I wanted him. Now I'm gonna tell him what I really feel for him.

Right now all he does is stare at me, which is actually fine but is making me guilty for lying to him. We're now at a resto since I wanted to eat.

I smiled. "So, you're just gonna stare at me? No 'I missed you so much Maria?' " I took a sip from my drink.

"What are you doing here?" He asked for the millionth time.

"You want the truth? Fine, I wanted to see you guys!" I said.

"Oh wow, what happened? Your boyfriend broke up with you so you need someone to hang out with?" He asked.

I sighed. "Aren't you happy to see me? That's so not what I was expecting. You know you changed a lot. S'matter that chic changed you?" I asked.

"Bullshit, don't make this about her we're talking about you so don't change the topic." He said angrily.

I crossed my arms. "Huh, so I see I've been replaced now."

Tanner stood and started walking away. I followed him.

"Tanner wait! Where do you thing you're going? C'mon I just wanted to hang out."

He continued to walk as if he never heard anything.

"Tanner wait!" I stopped and started crying. He stopped walking when I spoke one more time. "I love you."
