"So what's the plan for today?" I asked Jake as he sat there eating his pancakes. His hair was all over the place, and his white t-shirt was wrinkled. He shrugged, his eyes tired as he gulped down his coffee. I ran my fingers through my blond hair as I finished up my pancakes, the blueberry syrup filling my taste buds along with the fluffy pancake.
"I mean, if you want to go somewhere, you'd have to take either Damon, Ace, or I with. You're still not allowed to go anywhere alone."
"Jake it's been almost a month! I'm fine!" I groaned his over protectiveness hitting my last nerve.
"I don't care how damn long it's been I don't want to get a call one day or someone knocking at my door that you're missing or dead!" Jake shouted making me jump. His blue eyes glared at me as he gave me a stern look.
"That's not going to happen because I can take care of myself! I don't need all these guys to go out of their way to watch over me! You are becoming just like a dad!" I shouted back as my anger was spiked. "I'm tired of you treating me like a little kid Jake! I'm tired! I am old enough to watch myself, take care of myself, and you don't even acknowledge that!" Jake sat there his face still hard as he thought about what he wanted to say.
"You're not going anywhere without anyone and that's final." He said sipping his coffee. He raised an eyebrow challenging me to test him, but I didn't. With my first clench tight, and my mouth screwed shut, I dropped the plates in the sink before storming off to my bedroom.
I made sure to slam the door in the process, before I collapsed on my bed. Not only has Jake been over protective, and Ace always being over protective in any situation, but since Amanda came over and Damon had to wrestle her, he's been just as protective. They don't let me breathe alone, sleep alone- Jake has been making Damon spend the night every night he's not home to make sure nothing happens- they won't let me be alone.
With a groan I wrapped the blankets around my body, cocooning myself from the world. I could hear Jake drop his dishes in the sink as he aggressively washed them. I groaned wanting to spend time doing something else without everyone. By my self. Alone. Just me.
Ring. Ring. Ring. Ri-
"What?" I answered the phone not looking at caller ID.
"Well hello to you too, kitten." Ace chuckled from the other end. I groaned running a hand through my hair still irritated. Butterflies still filled my stomach at his angelic laugh but I ignored it.
"Can I help you?" I asked nuzzling more into my bed.
"I wanted to hang out with you. I'll be over in-"
"I don't wanna hang out." I cut him off, my eyes shutting.
"Great I'll see you in- wait what?" His voice full of confusion.
"I just wanna be left alone today."
"Kitten, I did not see you at all yesterday. You are hanging out with me even if I have to drag you out of that damn house." He threatened.
"Nope. Bye." I said hanging up. My eyes shut as I forced myself into a dreamless sleep.
--
"Kitten, get your ass up, we are going to the mall." Ace said shaking me.
"No I wanna be left alone! Why don't any of you just stay away!" I groaned hiding my face in my pillow. Ace chuckles poking my sides, making me jump away.
"Stop." His eyes twinkled as his plump, pink lips curled into a smirk.
"Don't think about- ACE!" I shriek as he jumped on me attacking me with his fingers hitting my ticklish spots. The room was full of my laughs and shrieks as I tried to catch his hands to stop him.
