His "Perfect" Kitten

Chapter 12:

"Kitten what are you doing?" Ace asked as I dragged him into a little candy store.

"I want candy! Duh." I reply grabbing a pack of gummy worms. Ace chuckled as I went to the counter, grabbing the $20 Jake gave me before I left. Before the man behind the counter could take my cash, Ace slipped his credit card in his hand, winking at me as the man swiped his card. A pout fell upon my lips as I grabbed the gummy worms walking out of the store. Ace was hot on my trail as I walked away from the store once he had gotten his card.

"Don't pout princess." He said grabbing my arm as I tried to open the bag of gummies.

"But I hate when you pay, Jake gave me money, let me spend it!" Ace took the bag from my hands, ripping it open, before handing it back to me.

"Save the money for when you hang out with the emo kid. When you are with me, you don't pay a dime." Ace said as I popped a gummy in my mouth.

"Can I pay in pennies? How about nickels?" I asked watching a smile creep on his face as he wrapped a strong arm around my waist.

"Not with me Kitten. You can pay with whatever you want with Mr. Depressed, but not with me." Ace said, a smile on his face.

"Ugh." I groaned rolling my eyes playfully. " I can never do anything I want." I added on. Ace chuckled pulling me against him once again.

"Nope! You have to stay in your room for the rest of your life, no breathing, no thinking, no blinking!" He said dramatically. I giggled at him, giving a playful shove.

"Can we go see a movie?" I asked randomly as the movie theater in the mall was coming up.

"Anything for my little Kitten. What movie?" We walked together into the entrance, my eyes skimming over the posters trying to find one that seemed goo to watch.

"How about.... hmmmmm... Cars 3!" My finger pointed at the poster, my eyes on Ace waiting for his approval. He nodded in agreement, going up to the lady behind the window.   She was obnoxiously chewing her gum, and twirling her black hair around her finger. Her green eyes stared Ace down, watching his every move, a flirtatious smirk on her face. I felt a pang to my heart watching her ogle over him, and knowing she'd win if it ever came to a competition. She sure was taller than me, suiting his height way better than I do. And from what I can see, she did have bigger breast compared to me, which is what  men look for now-a-days.

"Two for Cars 3." His voice was deep as he whipped out his credit card handing it to her. Her eyes brightened, as she nodded, taking the card from his hand, purposely touching his fingers. My eyes narrowed, before I quickly looked away, beginning to walk into the theater to get some snacks. I went in line, only standing behind a few people. The gummies were in my jacket pocket, but I knew Ace would want a drink, and some popcorn.

After a few minutes of waiting, I was finally face to face with one of the workers.

"Hi hun, what can I get you today?" He asked a warm smile on his face. I smiled back looking up at his tall figure and meeting his blue eyes.

"Can I get 2 pops and one popcorn?" I asked grabbing the 20 dollars. He nodded ringing up, then telling me the price. I handed him the money as he filled up 2 drinks.

Once I had everything, I gave him one last smile before walking away. I looked around searching for Ace, but not once did my eyes land on him. My heart sank before I shrugged walking to the theater, knowing I didn't have a ticket, but not really caring. I sat in the very back of the theater, setting the drinks in either side of me, and placing the popcorn in my lap. The commercials began playing, and  took this time to scan the theater in search of Ace. My eyes passed many families, but not once did they land on Ace. I sighed sinking in the chair, shoving fistfuls of popcorn in my mouth and chewing.
