Rose's Point of View

With my team, we took the back of the church as we did a quick check of the surroundings. When working with guardians, we seem to move in sync of somewhat. We moved quickly, and if we didn't see anything, we kept going. As we walked, we didn't see anything which I was quite happy about; maybe they were passing by. As we made our way around the church, we heard a hard crashing sound, which we all knew someone was in battle. We started to run to where the commotion was coming from when I felt it. That feeling that I was dreading with much passion, nausea, which only asserted to me that Strigoi weren't just passing through. Which only made us act as one and defend those in the church.

" Code Pink," I said through my headpiece as I went into action.

Code pink is an alert specifying that they are Strigoi in the perimeter.
I quickly went for the first one that came at me, who was an older Strigoi, but nothing I couldn't handle. We did a quick dance as we rounded each other as when he would strike, I would dodge and to the same. As we both wrestled for what seems like a split second, he had an opening, and I took it gladly. I quickly grabbed my stakeout and went to the next one.

" Defend the entrance of the church," I yelled out loud as I started my somewhat dance with my next target.

I didn't want the amount which was here to spread, this church was already big enough, and they're only a few of us out here. I quickly started to stake Strigoi as they came, some took a while, but others were quick. As I looked around, I could still see more of us, but we would need more help.

" Rose, do you guys need backup, I have a team ready?" I heard Eddie say as I was pulling my stakeout of a body.

" Send," I said as I stood shocked at the amount of Strigoi I saw from afar, which only made me sick to my bones.

" Eddie, leave Viktoria with you. If I tell you to run you run, Alvarez is ready," I said as I went for the next kill.

As the backup team arrived, we all stood in guard as our main priority was to defend the church.

" They can't get in, " I thought it myself as the church is considered a holy place, where the dead couldn't enter.

" There are more coming from the other side" I heard one of our yells.

Hearing that only made me respond harder to killing them faster.

" Eddie, fire users" I repeated as I roundhouse kick the Strigoi who came at me.

Eddie's Point of View

We all started hearing the commotion which was happening outside, which only got the Moroi to enter into a panic mode. Of course, they would be worried; they were surrounded by Strigoi, who were looking for something. I stood next to Lissa, who was trying to act sane, but on the inside, she was worried about Rose. I knew that Rose if things got hard, she would want to use those with fire abilities, and I would have to get them ready if they were needed. I walked up to the center of the stage, where the late queen still stood there and looked at the anxious crowd.

" We need every fire user in disposal; the guardians are trying to control the situation. But if needs necessary, you would be of great help," I said out loud.

Any royal gifted in fire stood up as they stood firm, accepting to risk their lives out there. Over the years, Lissa, with the help of Christian, has turned the Moroi/Dhampir world, as Moroi has learned to use their gifts for the good and not for nonsense. Moroi have trained to help their guardians in battle, as it wasn't easy. All elements came into place when in combat, as it served as a distraction to the Strigoi. I still, to this day, remember Mia and Christian in battle as they used their gift. A few royal families held people with the ability of fire, one of them being the Zeklos. I walked with the ones who said yes to going out on the battlefield and walked with them to the main entrance.
