I was too afraid to say these things to your face, and so, I wrote them down and sent them out into the world in hopes that maybe, just maybe, they would find you before it was too late.

I promise you

That in the moment

When you hate yourself

I will crawl under the covers

And wipe away your tears

And kiss your forehead

I promise you

That I will be silent

Until you stop crying

And I will snuggle up to you

And tangle my legs with yours

And weave my hands into your hair

I promise you

That I will make everything okay

I will tell you you're beautiful

Not because you want to hear it

But because you are

And there hasn't been a moment when I thought otherwise

I promise you

That you are the most perfect person

And I won't ever leave you

Or stop doing this

I'll always treat you like royalty

Because princess, you're worth this

Wrote this for a friend of mine who wanted something or his girlfriend.
