We were young
Our thoughts were loud
Our music louder
What didn't kill us
Screwed us over
We grew spirited, not stronger
We never listened to our parents
They'd never understand us anyway
Even though they tried
We learned more from a 3 minute
Than we ever learned in school
And that was okay
We drove fast on empty streets
With nothing on our minds
Except not getting arrested
I don't remember every Friday night
Or every kiss I received
I don't remember all the secrets
I don't remember every moment
But I sure do remember
Who stood by me through it all

Okay, so I gave a shout out to my friend in my last update. You guys want a sneak peak of a poem she is going to upload in about an hour ?
Of course ya greedy animals ☺
~
Who here,
Is afraid of the dark?
Evil demons lurking around,
Forgotten spirits whispering your name.
The woman waiting in the torn wedding dress,
A face staring back in the mirror.
Spiders crawling up your body,
Bright yellow eyes staring at you.
A corpse slowly crawling for you,
A random knock on your door.
The bloodied knife on the counter,
Evil laughter in the house.
Random flickering of the power,
A cold chill down your spine.
Goosebumps crawling up your arms,
A dark figure in the corner.
And now,
I will ask again.
Who here,
Is afraid of the dark?

Afraid to Say
PoesíaI was too afraid to say these things to your face, and so, I wrote them down and sent them out into the world in hopes that maybe, just maybe, they would find you before it was too late.
